It’s the premiere of K Pop Demon Hunters! Do we know what that is? Of course not! But the title is hilarious and the cast turned it out on the red carpet, so we actually don’t need to know anything else about it!

Seriously, these are damn impressive efforts for a Netflix cartoon series premiere. Ladies, we salute your commitment. We’re still gonna judge you, though.

This is a “more than the sum of its parts” kinda dress. The skirt is giving trash bag and the colors are pretty harsh, but the overall effect is kind of interesting and the pleating is impressive. We’d like this design a lot more in a different textile and color story.

This is simple, but pretty and delivers high impact. She’s dressed to match the logo, which is always a nice thing for your corporate paymasters to see, but really, the colors just look great on her and we love the ombre effect.

This is almost too interesting for a red carpet. We really like that print, but it doesn’t photograph all that well. Still, the neckline looks very pretty on her and if the hem were a few inches longer, we think it would work better.

This may be one of the most covered-up we’ve ever seen him on a red carpet. He likes to dress slutty and we love that for him. He’s toned down for a cartoon premiere, but this is all very much in that “chic assault victim” mode that really only works on guys because there’s an underlying cheekiness to it. We think we might have preferred it if he’d just worn the cropped tank top with those dress pants.
