Cannes Film Festival 2025 Style File: Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson at the DIE, MY LOVE Photo Call and Premiere

J Law and R Patz (to bring back some circa 2014 blog-isms) put on a rather stylish show together as they navigated the Cannes Film Festival photo call, premiere and after party for their film Die, My Love.

She’s gorgeously beachy and elegant. We don’t think we’d love her dress as much in a different setting. Similarly, we don’t love the shape of the shades at all, but they lend the whole look a boho vibe that takes it to a more stylish place. With different styling, in a different setting, this could have looked drab, but she looks great. While he’s not dressing at her level, we can’t say we have a problem with any of it. We’d bet a donut or two that everything he’s wearing is much more expensive than it looks. We might argue that he’s getting a little old for the college dorm style, but that jacket does a lot to elevate the look.

What a goddamn stunner of a gown. Absolutely no notes at all. It isn’t an outrageous design, but it’s elegant and chic and she’s extremely well-suited to it. Every blonde star wants a Grace Kelly moment at Cannes and this is hers. She looks perfect.

She was also photographed wearing this at the premiere and the after-party. It’s hard to tell from the timing of the photos, but we suspect these shots were taken after the screening and before the after-party, in case there’s any confusion. This allows her to keep the glam alive while giving her the comfort to eat a couple of baguettes if she wants them. Black velvet never photographs well, though. The earrings are a gorgeous accompaniment. His tux is lovely but his grooming is not great and he needs to see a facialist. We can’t imagine they’re hard to find in Cannes this week.
