We don’t really know why Venus Williams joined the cast of And Just Like That… for the Paris photo call ahead of the show’s third season. We have to presume she’s one of the many guest stars.
Whatever the case, the ladies knew this was a moment for serving and serve they did. We’re surprised that Venus wore pretty much the most interesting of the looks.
Most of them came a little overdressed for the occasion although this strikes us as the one that stands out the most as being wrong for a daytime picture. It’s interesting, but ultimately it just looks heavy and shapeless.
The trick to pattern-mixing is to use prints that are easily distinguishable from each other but possess a subtle through-line. These are just three very similar (and pretty unphotogenic) prints.
This strikes us a very pose-specific dress. It can look softly romantic or it can look like a pile of rags depending on how the wearer is situated. It’s not a bad dress, but we loathe those boots with it.
The only one who wore an actual day dress. It’s cute. It doesn’t need the butterfly.
This is almost sharp, but the blouse is too tight on her.
