Meet the new John Lennon: Harris Dickinson on his career plot twist, his love of wild life and how he overcame the negative effects filming Babygirl had on his health
Straight off the back of his Babygirl success, Harris Dickinson is set to appear in the new biopic extravaganza, The Beatles: A Four-Film Cinematic Event

Just the idea of taking on such an iconic role as John Lennon, one of the most famous musicians of all time, would have anyone stressed out. Yet for 28-year-old actor Harris Dickinson, (who joins a line up of stellar British performers such as Barry Keogh, Joseph Quinn and Paul Mescal to play the late Beatles frontman in the upcoming Sam Mendes biopic, The Beatles: A Four-Film Cinematic Event) he has figured out the perfect way to keep calm and carry on.
Thanks to his training in the Marine Cadets during his teenage years he is equipped with the tools to survive any situation – including, perhaps the somewhat wild and brutal landscape of the Hollywood Hills.

Suzie Toot Has Drag Race Regrets
This entire season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, the name on everybody’s lips was Suzie Toot. Queens and viewers alike couldn’t stop talking about the Betty Boop look-alike with a weird sense of humor. And yet: Why? That question echoes through the Drag Race universe following her earlier-than-expected elimination in this week’s episode. Suzie walked into the season as an oddity, but by the end of the first episode, which she won, she seemed like a shoo-in for the finale. She went on to win RDR Live!, much to the chagrin of her competitors, who thought her outfit was terrible and said as much in Untucked. But then she flopped during Snatch Game, turning in an obtuse and unfunny performance as Ellen Greene in Little Shop of Horrors, and suddenly she was not so big a threat, despite the other queens’ insistence to the contrary: All season long, Lexi Love obsessed over how well Suzie was doing, and at the top seven, four separate queens told RuPaul that Suzie must go home because she was their biggest competition.

Aimee Lou Wood of The White Lotus Is So Much More Than Her Smile
The star talks with Glamour about Chelsea and Rick’s backstory (including a not-so-meet-cute in Cabo), her character’s “controversial” fate in the finale, and why she’s a little tired of the intense fan fixation on her appearance.

A few months into filming season three of The White Lotus in Thailand, Aimee Lou Wood began to experience an unsettling sensation. She became so utterly engrossed in her character, the mystical eternal optimist Chelsea, that she found the line blurring between herself and the woman she was playing.
So she left the set for a completely inconvenient five-day trip back to London.
“I got into my flat, and I was like, Oh, that’s who I am,” she tells me. “I was piecing my life back together.”

All the cool girls are adding jewellery to their trouser leg
How to steal the style

Another day, another social media fuelled styling trend, and I know it won’t be long until we’re all weaving this one into our wardrobes. Unlike the cool yet slightly confusing fixation with wearing football shirts over skirts or the extreme coquette core that presumably had haberdasheries running out of ribbons, this wardrobe tweak is sure to be welcomed by every kind of fashion fan. And, what’s better, you can most likely achieve it with items you already own (although I have added some shopping suggestions, just to be on the safe side).
To effortlessly yet elegantly upgrade any outfit, the chicest women are adding jewellery to their trouser legs. Yes, really. And it’s demanding a lot of attention, quickly becoming a go-to trend to make even the simplest of looks suddenly appear much more sophisticated.

13 looks that prove Tracee Ellis Ross is the ultimate fashion icon
From Marni to Marc Jacobs, her style is impeccable both on and off the red carpet

Tracee Ellis Ross is very firmly in her fashion era. Already this year she has been honoured with WWD’s Fashion Trailblazer award and walked for Marni at Milan Fashion Week, but style is in her DNA. How could it not be when Diana Ross is her mother?
The now-52-year-old actress is best known for her iconic role as Joan Clayton in the hit noughties TV show Girlfriends, matriarch Rainbow Johnson in the hilarious sitcom Black-ish, and is appearing in the new season of Black Mirror, coming out later this month. She made her runway debut alongside her superstar mum in 1990 for Mugler. She then walked for the house again, this time alone, in 1991. Writing on Instagram, she said: “I have to say…..looking back, I’m amazed by my confidence the second time around…you betta werk 19 year old TER.”

From jelly nails to micro florals, here are 27 of the most joyful nail designs for spring
And they’re genuinely wearable

As a beauty editor and nail tech, you best believe as soon as there is the teeniest bit of greenery on the trees and the sun peeps through the clouds, I’m getting my spring nail polish colours out and trying out all the new nail trends and nail art designs.
While we have chrome French manicures, mocha pedicures and milky nails trending, there’s heaps of micro trends coming through for spring. This year, I’m going all out with the nail designs for spring. Yes, there are still lots of bright colours and springtime motifs but this in 2025, I’m also leaning into cat eye shapes, intricate art work and jelly nails.
Keep scrolling for all the best nail designs for spring to take to your next salon appointment or save for inspiration to try at home.

People call these perfumes ‘basic’ but I fundamentally disagree—in fact, these 11 smell really luxurious
And they’re perfect for spring

I’m going to come right out and say it: when it comes to the best fragrances, people are unjustifiably snobby about fruity perfumes. Unlike deeper woody perfumes or divisive power fragrances, sweet scents in general tend to get written off as saccharine or only for teenagers. I, however, have a real soft spot for fruity fragrances—particularly once the weather warms up. And while spring/summer might be fickle when it comes to delivering sunshine in the UK, I’ve found that dousing myself in a fruit cocktail of a fragrance has done wonders for evoking a sunnier spirit internally at least.
Not convinced? I get it. If you tend to steer clear of gourmand fragrances like vanilla perfumes or honey scents then fruity perfumes might feel wildly out of your comfort zone, but the modern interpretations of these scents are a far cry from the sugary, synthetic perfumes that I remember loving in my youth. Instead, the best fruity perfumes are light, bright, and undeniably wearable—and these eleven are particularly special.

‘Berry girl makeup’ is this spring-summer’s headlining fruity beauty trend
First came strawberry girl, then came peach, but 2025 is all about berry

For the past few years, it seems like one fruity beauty reference has come to define the makeup trends each summer. This year? It’s the turn of Berry Girl Makeup.
It follows 2023’s Strawberry Girl Summer, which saw soft and flushed pinks applied over lips and cheeks alongside dinky strawberry details sketched across nails. Then, last year, Peach Girl Makeup came to claim its place. It warmed the dial up with bronzier pinks, apricots and corals to give a tanned, summer-ready take on tonal beauty.
But things have moved in a slightly different direction for 2025. Perhaps it’s the influence that the cherry trend has been having on makeup (which in itself is a major aesthetic this year), but juicy berry tones have carried over from autumn-winter to give us a slightly deeper, sexy approach to fruity beauty this summer.

What causes broken hairs along your hairline, and how to fix them
Sort those suckers out.

Baby hairs are one thing – a little fluffy action framing the face is completely normal. But broken hairs along your hairline can be confidence-crushing, especially when they continue to snap before ever getting the chance to grow into a luscious fringe.
“Hairs along your front hairline are usually finer and slightly weaker, which makes them vulnerable to breakage,” explains Anabel Kingsley, leading trichologist at Philip Kingsley. Meaning we need to pay them more love and attention than the rest of our hair, and treat them delicately. The trouble is, being front-facing, “we tend to fuss with our front hairline more than any other part of our hair, especially when we style – so it often gets the most abuse,” says Anabel.

43 best layered haircuts that’ll instantly frame your cheekbones
Layers can be divisive. Those of us who overdid flicky, layered haircuts in the noughties – then spent the next two years trying to blow dry them into submission – may, justifiably, think they’re not worth the hassle. On the other hand, there’s no way you can miss sultry, choppy, voluminous layers if you own a social media account. Everywhere we look, layers are leading the trends – from floaty, fluffy ‘70s flicks with curtain bangs, to bouncy blowouts, butterfly cuts and updated renditions of The Rachel.
The thing is, most of us probably already have some form of layers. They come in all shapes and sizes, see. “Layers are pretty much a part of any haircut unless you’ve got a sharp bob,” explains leading hair stylist, Luke Hersheson. “A grown-out fringe is an example of layers, as are some framing pieces that finish around your jaw or chin,” he says.

This Is The Heartbreaking True Story Behind ‘Dying For Sex’, Your New Must-Watch TV Series
Michelle Williams’ new drama, ‘Dying For Sex’, is based on the heartbreaking true story of Molly Kochan, a woman who received a Stage IV cancer diagnosis and decided to leave her husband of 15 years.

Fans of Molly Kochan’s podcast will recognise the story told in Hulu’s latest series, Dying for Sex, which stars Michelle Williams as the host and Jenny Slate as her best friend, Nikki Boyer.
The drama, which launches on Disney+ on April 4, tells the story of Kochan, who received a Stage IV cancer diagnosis and decided to leave her husband of 15 years. Supported by her best friend, Boyer — who also executively produced the series — Kochan set out on a quest to learn more about herself and her truest sexual desires. And yes, it’s based entirely on the very true and heartbreaking story of Kochan’s life.

What Not To Wear To A Wedding, According To The Experts
Wedding season is officially here – and if you’re anything like us, you’re already planning your outfits for the nuptials you’ve got coming up over the next few months. While weddings are generally less formal these days, that arguably makes the dress code even more challenging: no one wants to be underdressed, or overdressed, for a friend’s big day.
“The best wedding guest outfits strike the perfect balance between looking polished and chic without looking over-the-top or out of kilter with the dress code,” Rosie Williams, co-founder of bridal brand The Own Studio, which recently launched evening wear, tells Vogue. “While the dress code at weddings has definitely relaxed, making an effort is still super important – ultimately, the couple [will] see it as a sign of respect that their wedding is meaningful to you and that you appreciate the significance of the day.”

11 Plaid Outfits That Prove the Classic Print Is Also a Spring Must-Have
This just in: Plaid is the new floral.

Though plaid is most closely associated with fall flannels and Christmas decor, you’d be ill-advised to relegate the pattern to cold months alone. The checked motif is among spring 2025’s biggest fashion trends, dominating runways from Ralph Lauren and Tibi to edgier brands, like Acne Studios and Bottega Veneta. Finally, the ubiquitous floral print has a worthy opponent.
“This season, plaid is being completely reimagined with newer silhouettes and deeper, richer backgrounds,” says Caroline Maguire, senior fashion director at Shopbop. “I’m seeing a lot of brands offer a fresh take on this classic pattern. Whether it’s Glen plaid, gingham, argyle, or tartan, these timeless patterns are consistently reinvented in modern ways, which keep them coming back season after season.”

King Charles “Deeply Regrets” Causing “Pain and Sadness” to Princess Diana With Queen Camilla Affair
“Asking someone to sacrifice happiness for the sake of their public persona seems really quite cruel.”

Much has been written about King Charles’s marriage to Princess Diana, which ended in divorce with both admitting to having been unfaithful. According to friends of the monarch, Charles has regrets about the way he handled his relationship with Diana.
The Daily Mail’s royal editor, Rebecca English, spoke to friends of King Charles and Queen Camilla for a new article. Discussing The King’s divorce from Diana, one source said, “Both of them [Charles and Diana] behaved badly in that first marriage and made decisions that none of us could ever condone…But we can seek to try to understand them.” As English wrote, “Charles still deeply ‘regrets’ the pain and sadness caused.”
Charles’s friends believe he was placed in an impossible situation. “When you look back on it now, asking someone to sacrifice…happiness for the sake of their public persona seems really quite cruel,” one friend explained.

Below, find 24 feel-good movies to escape into the next time you need a little coziness.

Meghan Markle and Le Creuset Are at the Center of a Heated Internet Debate — Here’s Why
“This is a thing, in 2025?”
The Internet is once again up in arms about a choice made by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex. Every time she attempts something new, be it naming her daughter or arranging a balloon arch for a garden party, the actress-turned-royal-turned-lifestyle guru becomes the target of intense criticism. Her latest foray into the public eye in the form of a Netflix series called With Love, Meghan, is no different. Claims of her being out of touch and unrelatable for her hostessing tips and garden-to-table cooking style are being further compounded by angry Internet netizens who have taken issue with her expensive, coordinated Le Creuset cookware. When informed of this most recent tirade against her during an interview with The New York Times, Sussex was dumbfounded, saying, “This is a thing, in 2025?”
Worry not, there are plenty of people coming to her defense.

The Frick Returns, Richer Than Ever
After a few years away, the Frick Collection reopens with a renovated grandeur that marries Old Master power portraits to a domestic intimacy.

The Frick Collection, on East Seventieth Street, is, by so many miles, the finest small city museum—less self-consciously eccentric than London’s Sir John Soane museum, broader in scope and more distinguished than Paris’s Jacquemart-André—that its return after a few years away for renovation is a rare blessing in a time short on them. The collection never had any set program, beyond housing Old Master pictures bought by the industrialist Henry Clay Frick with the nudging of the era’s shrewdest tag team: the art historian Bernard Berenson and the dealer Joseph Duveen. But, walking through the place ahead of its official opening, on April 17th, one is reminded—both by one’s eyes and by the new director, Axel Rüger—that the collection does bend toward a point. With scarcely any nudes or still-lifes, it turns on businessmen, bureaucrats, and bishops: rich men dressed for work.

My boyfriend wants to pay my expenses. Am I a bad feminist if I let him?
I value my independence and don’t want my partner to end up controlling me.
I’m getting married and struggling with what is “fair” when it comes to combining incomes and sharing expenses. My boyfriend makes twice as much as I do, but isn’t necessarily harder-working or more successful (would you believe that having a PhD in a technical field can just…lead to more money?). Accordingly, he wants to pay for more of our shared expenses, like rent. I understand why this would be considered “fair” but am really resisting it.
When others pay, it feels like they’re trying to control me or encroach on my independence. Yet I do think that there is something obstinate and rigidly, falsely “feminist” in the way I insist on 50/50 in our relationship. What should I do?

Sebastian: A queer drama about who gets to tell sex workers’ stories
Finnish filmmaker Mikko Mäkelä talks about his new film Sebastian, which follows an aspiring writer in London who turns to gay sex work

Mikko Mäkelä knew what he was setting himself up for when Sebastian, his second feature as a writer-director, has a novelist turn to the camera to exclaim, “You can ask me anything!” Starring Ruaridh Mollica as the Hackney-based author Max, Sebastian is about the ethics of writing, the quest for authenticity, the perils of delving too far into research – or perhaps none of that at all. The film is, after all, a piece of fiction, and the protagonist, Max, doesn’t even go by his real name for most of the story.

Bill Murray says he was ‘barbecued’ after on-set kiss and misconduct allegation: ‘There was no peacemaking’
“I thought it was funny. To me, it’s still funny, the idea that you could give someone a kiss with a mask on. It’s still stupid.”

Bill Murray is reflecting on a troubling incident that took place on the set of one of his recent movies.
The Lost in Translation actor discussed the allegation of inappropriate misconduct that led to production halting Aziz Ansari’s unfinished film Being Mortal and, later, an investigation.
“I don’t go too many days or weeks without thinking of what happened in Being Mortal,” Murray said in a new interview with The New York Times.

Jeremy Allen White is a sweaty, rockin’ Bruce Springsteen in first Deliver Me From Nowhere footage
White and costar Jeremy Strong were on hand at CinemaCon to preview the upcoming biopic.

Describing the film, White said, “[this is a] pivotal moment in Bruce’s life struggling to reconcile the ghosts of his past culminating in his 1982 album.”
Strong appears as Springsteen’s longtime manager, Jon Landau. He described his character as “the Lewis to Bruce’s Clark,” adding, “the journey’s beautiful and unprecedented in the history of music.”
The first footage from the film showcased White as the Boss, both contemplative and playing guitar in more intimate settings and fully rocking out, soaked with sweat, on an arena stage. It also featured shots of Springsteen’s childhood and his mom and dad.

‘The White Lotus’ Actor Tayme Thapthimthong on Traveling Thailand as a Local, His Favorite Regional Eats, and the One Gesture Every Visitor Should Know

Actor Tayme Thapthimthong never watched The White Lotus before being cast as hotel security guard Gaitok on the popular HBO show. And while his character has generated lots of buzz since the show’s February premiere, Thapthimthong chatted with Travel + Leisure over the summer while the cast was filming on location in Thailand and told us all about his experience off and on camera.
“It’s been amazing, nothing has really made me want to get out of bed this much,” Thapthimthong told T+L. “Waking up in a five-star hotel every time that I’m filming here has been surreal.”
