She’s a chic, understated witch now. Wicked star Cynthia Erivo came to the GLAAD Media Awards to pick up the Stephen F. Kolzak Award and to slay the Dior way.
We are loving her post-awards season turn toward elegance after all of that promotional maximalism of the Wicked promo tour. We have no doubt she’ll be ramping up the Elphaba drag in a few months, for the runup to Wicked 2, but for now, she must be enjoying the prospect of wearing relatively simple items. Dior tasked a bunch of artists and designers with interpreting their iconic Lady Dior bag and Cynthia’s sporting the one by London artist Michaela Yearwood-Dan. It’s fabulous.
