Lisa had herself an incredibly stylish Oscar night. As we noted in our Cosmopolitan writeup, the Blackpink singer and star of The White Lotus is no stranger to serving looks, but we were impressed by her range.

We’ll say it: absolutely our most favorite ladytux of all time. So many designers have attempted to marry the suave confidence of a classic tuxedo with the sweeping drama of a gown and so few have ever managed to pull it off. This does so, masterfully. She doesn’t need to change a thing here, but what’s great about this design is how easily it can be styled to look much more glam or even sexier if the wearer wanted. Unbutton the top of the shirt, do up a few on the bottom, ditch the pants and put on a pair of sheer tights with sparkly stilettos and this whole look becomes something entirely different. It’s a really fantastic design. And there’s a reason she chose to keep the styling low-key and modest.

It’s because she was saving all of the drama for the after-party. On its own, we’d likely find this design a little weird, but in tandem with that previous look, we love how it shows off her range. It’s darkly dramatic and sexy, with more than a hint of the strange to it. We could quibble about the hairstyle or the placement and choice of that necklace, but it would be missing the point. This is a whole vibe.
