Michael B. Jordan, Miles Caton, Wunmi Mosaku, and Hailee Steinfeld
Let’s all look at pretty people in nice clothes, standing on a logo. Then let’s judge them. The cast of Sinners put on their finery to pose for the Mexico City photo call. Let’s assess.
Michael B. Jordan in Prada

This all appears to be in order. It’s not particularly exciting, but you only have to show up looking mildly presentable for most photo calls. It all feels very 1995, from the color story to the coat length to the shape of the footwear.
Miles Caton

This is also presentable, professional, and mildly cute. The grooming is on point and he looks impeccable.
Wunmi Mosaku in Harbison Studio

We feel like anyone who’s read at least a dozen posts on this site knows exactly what we’re going to say. But before we say it, we’ll note that it’s a fun dress and the colors look great on her but it has twice as many buttons as it needs. Now, the thing: Those shoes are fabulous and the argument could be made that the color goes with the dress. That is not an argument you would win with us. She’d have been better off pulling out the blue or pink for the shoe choice.
Hailee Steinfeld in The New Arrivals

This is a bit of a flex. There’s no rule against wearing gowns to photo calls, but it’s one of those things you should probably coordinate with your castmates so you don’t wind up looking grandiose. Still, it’s not like it’s an elaborate design or one that demands attention. It’s quite pretty and it looks great on her.
