We’re enjoying Wicked star Cynthia Erivo’s style shift from witchy to cutesy now that she’s gone from promoting the film to campaigning for her Oscar. She showed up to Jimmy Kimmel live in a really cute little frock and some sassy-sparkly shoes, which made a lovely change from all of the black and green she’s been wearing for the last year.
We like how simple it all is. While she’ll probably always have her maximalist preferences, sometimes it’s a good idea for a star to occasionally clean the look up a little or take things down a couple of notches. After all, she’ll probably never give up those nails, so simple shapes and low–key accessorizing will probably never leave her looking boring or generic. Having said that, we don’t think the shoes, fabulous as they are, go all that well with a knit dress.
