One of Them Days star Keke Palmer is on the promo trail, serving one head-turning look after another as she makes the rounds in New York. Let’s assess her latest.
AT THE TODAY SHOW STUDIOS
This is pure fabulous – and we say that even though we hate the color. But it’s an eye-catching color, which is a point in its favor, and its utilized really well. The feeling is luxe rather than “bathroom tile.” That (hopefully faux) collar is amazing and it totally makes the look. The branding on the bag is a little obnoxious but we’re charmed by the matching earrings. It’s such a Keke-specific look. Other people could pull it off, but she makes it seem like everything she’s wearing was made just for her.

Will it be controversial of us to suggest that a below-the-knee leather skirt shouldn’t be paired with above-the-knee leather boots? Especially when they’re both paired with a crop top? It feels and looks very bottom-heavy. We can’t say we’re all that crazy about the top or the bag. She’s selling the hell out of it, but the longer we take this look in the less we like it.
