The OGs know how to do theme-dressing. Original Wicked Broadway stars Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth came to the LA premiere of the film in order to show their successors how to do it.
No pink, no green, no gingham or ruby slippers. Just one drop-dead slinky witch gown and one super-twee sparkly cocktail dress to get the job done.
It’s simple, classic, flattering and dramatic. A dress like this lives or dies on the styling and hers is just about perfect. Her makeup looks fantastic and we love the one little (relatively speaking) pop of emerald in that gorgeous clutch.
This is what you get with Kristin: disco Tinker Bell. She’s a 4’11” musical theater powerhouse, so styles like this are almost required of her. We can’t say we love the shape of the skirt, but the overall look is fun and very well suited to her.
