We are pleased to announce that The Apprentice stars Sebastian Stan, Maria Bakalova, and Jeremy Strong avoided any Trumpian cosplay for the film’s BFI London Film Festival premiere.
They also made for a nicely well-coordinated trio, although it doesn’t feel like an overly curated series of style choices.
Sebastian Stan
This is good-not-great. The pieces are nice, but the finishing just isn’t there. Personally, we have rec’d a shirt with a subtle stripe, a belt, and a brown pair of shoes to tie this all together.
Maria Bakalova in Erdem
We’re glad to see her get away from the Ivana cosplay, because to be honest, it’s of questionable taste. This, on the other hand, looks pretty great on her. We hate the dragging train but we love the unusual print and color story. We probably wouldn’t have recommended the bridesmaid DTM shoes.
Jeremy Strong in Brioni
This is gorgeous – and we usually hate turtlenecks. Our only quibble is that the pants are a little too long and the shoes should be brown.
