In an admirable display of corporate synergy, Angelina Jolie attended the AFI Film Festival premiere of Maria sporting a look from her own fashion line.
We’re loving the wild hair, but it’s also something of a branding move, since it’s the same hair she sported in the look book for the first collection from her line (see below). Personally, we don’t feel like this was the best venue to showcase a Champagne-colored satin gown, because such a garment is not likely to travel or photograph well. She’s lending the look the kind of drama it needs but for anyone who’s not Angelina Jolie, we suspect it’s just going to look shiny and drab. The jacket is a nice touch, though.
