Ummm… listen, we’re always big supporters of any lady who wants to get her hot on and remind people of how good she can look, but we feel like this whole look is working against its purpose. To be fair, she’s clearly not dressing to impress gay men, so feel free to take our reaction with a grain of salt, but this shmatta doesn’t even look all that flattering on her. The hair’s kind of a mess and even the shoes managed to be unflattering.

This, on the other hand, is so gorgeous that it almost feels like it’s wasted on this event. The color looks amazing on her. But the belt doesn’t work right under that plunging neckline and we’d have told her to ditch the scarf.

It’s very “boudoir.” The gown just looks flimsy and wrinkled to us. The design’s not bad but the textile and the non-color don’t help it. The shoes look silly.

ABOUT THE SERIES:
FIGHT NIGHT: THE MILLION DOLLAR HEIST, based on the acclaimed iHeart true-crime podcast, follows the infamous story of how an armed robbery on the night of Muhammad Ali’s historic 1970 comeback fight changed not only one man’s life but ultimately transformed Atlanta into the “Black Mecca.” When a hustler named Chicken Man (Kevin Hart) hosts an afterparty to celebrate the fight with a guest list of the country’s wealthiest, the night ends with the most brazen criminal underworld heist in Atlanta’s history. Suspected of masterminding the crime, Chicken Man is hellbent on clearing his name but must convince his old adversary, J.D. Hudson (Don Cheadle), one of the first Black detectives in the city’s desegregated police force, who is tasked with bringing those responsible to justice.
