One thing Sharon Stone is never going to do is show up for an award looking like anything but a total diva who deserves this, dammit. She brought her old-school star power to the Taormina Film Festival, where she is to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award. She did not come quietly:
Before we got confirmation on the designer, we discussed the possibility that she simply wrapped a large swathe of fabric around herself, pinned it, and called it good. She’s been known to do just that sort of thing before. The textile is pretty and the style is very dramatic and photogenic. None of it asks too much of her, which is exactly how she tends to like it. Big impact on low effort. She’s mastered the move.
