J Lo puts on a cute little birthday brunch outfit. Things may be a little quiet on the red carpet front right now, but the content goddesses have seen fit to bestow Jennifer Lopez’s Hamptons vacation on us. The woman simply never misses the opportunity to serve a look.
In typical J Lo fashion the look overall is entirely too much. Far be it for us to tell a diva what to wear to her birthday brunch, but that looks extremely silly with a pair of shorts and espadrilles. We get that luxe and over-the-top is part of her image, but the pieces simply don’t go together. The shorts and the top are really cute, although we probably would’ve liked it more if it was all one piece. Something about matching casual summertime separates feels a little juvenile to us. The shoes go about as well as the jewelry does. Nothing wrong with wedge espadrilles, but she didn’t need the pop of pink down there and the embroidery on the heel is too much. As always, great shades, though.
