It’s safe to say that Deadpool & Wolverine star Emma Corrin has been serving up some challenging fashion on this relentless publicity tour, but we think we’re in love with what they wore for their appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. While it’s easily the most conventional thing they’ve worn all month, you should probably still brace yourself slightly for the scrolldown.

Emma’s extremely well-suited to punk styles and mod styles, but before now, we would have said it would be nearly impossible for them to find a way to combine the two aesthetics. Fortunately, they turned to designer Joshua Ewusie, who supplied the finale look from his recent Central Saint Martins Graduate programme show. It’s glam, it’s bold, it suits Emma perfectly, it’s unforgettable and it’s really well styled. Without those tights and shoes, we don’t think we’d love the look as much as we do. We tend to hate raw hems or fringe, but that shredded aesthetic is what makes the look. Our only sort-of dislike is the ruching on the skirt.
