Gianni DeCenzo, Jacob Bertrand, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, Xolo Maridueña and Peyton List
Congratulations to the cast of Kobra Kai upon the premiere of the sixth and final season! We don’t know who most of you are because we never saw so much as a second of this show, but we’re gonna judge your red carpet looks anyway!
Fun! These kids went hard on the fashion and we appreciate that very much. Now, let’s see if we can’t make one of them cry.
Gianni DeCenzo
We’re JOKING. We would NEVER. This is a very cute look. We might have quibbled about the pants length or the slightly focus-pulling belt, but it’s all pretty good.
Jacob Bertrand
We could never be mean to a guy in creepers and loud plaid pants. Our only issue here is that the proportions feel wildly off. Granted, big and slouchy is the trend at the moment, but we tend to associate this punk-adjacent style with tighter cuts.
Tanner Buchanan
It’s striking and almost too well-suited to him, so we can’t say it’s bad, but it feels a little costumey. He looks like a Bond villain.
Mary Mouser
Oof. No, girl. The “I ripped my dress open” dress is never not a tacky cliche. The funny part is, the bra is kind of fabulous and we tend to hate bra tops. She’d have been better off just going with that.
Xolo Maridueña
This is entirely too bellhop-coded. To be fair, bellhops stopped dressing like this (or being called bellhops) a half century before he was born, but still. It’s giving casino employee. We’re not sure what the point of the cowrie shell chain is, but it really doesn’t go with the rest of the look.
Peyton List
This is great. No notes.
