A bunch of stars came out for the premiere of Inside Out 2, but the male cast members all looked like crap so we decided to bestow our loving attention on these ladies because they all turned it out nicely.

It’s cute! We’ll be honest and admit that the bedsheety sort of print is not to our tastes, but the style of dress looks great on her (she’s the quintessentially unfussy dresser) and the colors suit her. Monique Lhuillier is rarely to our tastes, but this has a surprisingly stripped-bare feel to it that works for her.

Oooh, we bet a lot of you recoiled on the scrolldown, didn’t you? We admit we’d have rather seen a full length pair of pants here, but we propose that the only real problem with this look is the choice of shoe, which is kind of ugly and wrong for the style of outfit. She needed a strappy sandal here.

That’s a lot of velvet for June, but it’s open enough for summer weather. The textile looks gorgeous on her. We hate that swimsuit bodice, however.

This is a busy print in a slightly unusual set of colors for a red carpet look, but she’s so well suited to it and the colors are so flattering on her that it feels like she’s the only person who could pull it off. Our only issue with it is that it looks a little heavy, but it’s an eye-catching dress.
