A Doctor Who U.S. premiere still seems weird to us, but when you’ve got that influx of Disney Dollars, you go where you’re told, we suppose. New series stars Ncuti Gatwa and Millie Gibson got the glam treatment for the Hollywood premiere.
NCUTI GATWA
We would have liked it more if the pants weren’t puddling around his feet, but we can’t deny that he looks pretty damn great here. The slightly odd proportions of the suit really work for him and we even like the belt, although it could stand to have about 4 inches lopped off.
MILLIE GIBSON
That’s just about the most glamorous any companion has ever looked while promoting the show. The lining situation is a little uneven and we’re not in love with the non-color, but this is very pretty in a low-key way. Her makeup looks great. The hair seems to be a modern take on a 1930s style, which makes sense with the dress, but it looks kind of limp to us.
