Joey King had herself a fine weekend at her very first Cannes Film Festival and we are compelled to salute her attention-grabbing skills for unveiling her fuck ass bob halfway through it.

In a way, we think this is a smart choice for her first time as an attendee at Cannes. You want to hit the glam/tacky bullseye but you don’t want come off too attention-seeking. She’s not here for her own premiere, after all. In other words, this is a pretty basic design we’ve seen a million times before, but it’s doing what it’s supposed to do, more or less. We think it would be better strapless and with a less sheer skirt.

Gotta say, that FA bob really does frame her face beautifully. We can’t slam the gloves for being impractical. It’s not like she’ll be doing any intricate handwork for the next hour or so. Even so, we just don’t love these crystal-embellished styles. They have a certain drag fantasy quality to them, but ultimate, we just don’t think crystals look all that great dangling off a forearm. Love the gown, though. That Miu Miu retro girly minimalism suits her.
