The Fall Guy star Hannah Waddingham had herself a busy Monday night, stopping by the Colbert studios first to dazzle in a classic LBD and then putting on her party tweeds to go soak up the adulation at a SAG-AFTRA career retrospective event in her honor.
IN AGENT PROVOCATEUR
It’s simple, it’s sexy, it looks inarguably great on her. It also looks like she’s struggling with it just a bit in order to stay comfortable and covered. We guess if you’re so tall that you can’t place your feet flat on the floor, a short skirt with a slit requires some judicious seating pose choices. They should’ve given her a bar stool to perch on. Love the shoes – and that’s saying something because we normally hate mary janes of any kind.
IN SELF-PORTRAIT
She changed into this for the SAG retrospective and it’s so very her in so many ways. Tweedily British (it’s actually knitwear), but bold, bright, glam and body con. It’s not like it’s against the rules to wear sandals with knitwear, but it does look a little unbalanced to our eyes. We think they choice would work better if the hem were at or above the knee. Great sandals, though. She’s got good shoe mojo.
