And now, a little feature we like to call An Almost Great Look On the Wrong Person. Actually, we just made that up. Even so, it’s a very good description of Lisa Frankenstein star Kathryn Newton’s getup for her appearance on the Today show.

First, we’re going to have to note that black tights and pumps are not the best choice for a dress that practically screams Springtime. We also think the shades are extremely poorly chosen; doing nothing for her and coordinating poorly with the rest of the look. The poncho is very nice and would have looked great with a long skirt and knee-high boots. Basically, there are a lot of good choices here paired with some notably poor ones. But all of that pales (pun intended) in comparison to the main issue which is that she’s entirely too pale and blonde to be going out in so much beige and camel.
