Susan Sarandon wore two Summer Casual looks for the Magna Graecia Film Festival, at which she was given a Lifetime Achievement award. We saw the dress first and wondered if it was worth devoting a whole post to, but then we caught the broderie number she wore to the photo call and we knew we had to highlight it:

This is actually really cute and chic. None of the pieces quite go with the other pieces, but that’s always been her preference. Her style has been random for decades. We like the glasses, but the pants need some sort of rethink on the lining situation and the sneakers need to be tossed completely, as does that awful bow at the waist. If she doesn’t want to wear sandals or espadrilles, then a pure white pair of kicks would’ve been our recommendation.

As we said, we initially thought we’d be passing this look over because it seemed too bland for coverage, but the more we look at it, the more we like how simply chic it comes across. Again, we’re not convinced on her sneaker choice here, but the jumpsuit looks great on her.
