Emerald Fennell, having taken her director’s hat off after her amazing Oscar-winning debut Promising Young Woman, and spending some time back in her actress role as Camilla Parker-Bowles on The Crown and poor, pregnant Midge in Barbie, is back on the job with what looks to be a lush, gorgeous sort of Brideshead Revisited-lite film titled Saltburn. We know very little about it except that these two promo images drip with a humid sensuality that intrigues us.

It’s got international pretty boys Barry Keoghan and Jacob Elordi on tap, so if nothing else, it sure will be pretty to look at.

Academy Award winning filmmaker Emerald Fennell (Promising Young Woman) brings us a beautifully wicked tale of privilege and desire. Struggling to find his place at Oxford University, student Oliver Quick (Barry Keoghan) finds himself drawn into the world of the charming and aristocratic Felix Catton (Jacob Elordi), who invites him to Saltburn, his eccentric family’s sprawling estate, for a summer never to be forgotten.
