Prepare yourselves. That’s all we’ll say.
“Prepare ourselves for what?” you may be asking. No, it’s not the dress, which is fine and even kind of pretty, although we don’t like the fabric flower at the neckline, which seems like overkill when you’re already sporting a floral print. And while we’re at it, we don’t think the bag coordinates all that well either, but that’s not what we’re talking about. What we need you to prepare for is the one part of this look you haven’t seen yet.
WERE YOU PREPARED? We warned you! Didn’t we warn you? Here’s our take on ballet flats: they’re a fine, classic shoe, but they should never look like literal ballet slippers, which means pink satin versions are a huge NO, as far as we’re concerned. A nice pair of black leather flats would finish this look off perfectly. Those things are downright comical-looking with this outfit.
