The ladies came out to the Kering Foundation “Caring for Women” dinner in some of the house’s best wares. We thank them for the fashion show. Putting aside the snark, they’re supporting efforts to fight violence against women, so they’re here for a good cause and modeling some of the company’s goods.
Andra Day in Alexander McQueen
This looks amazing on her. It would look pretty great on a lot of people, but she really brings a sharp chicness to it. Hair, makeup and jewelry are all SERVING.
Emma Watson in Alexander McQueen
You know what we’re going to say here. We just don’t think a white lace gown will ever not look bridal to us, black accessories or no. We also don’t think that bag really goes with the dress.
Jodie Turner-Smith in Gucci
It’s a damn shame it’s visibly too tight in the bust, because every other part of this look is drop-dead stunning. That necklace is amazing.
Kat Graham
It’s trying to do too many things at once. It’s a dress up top, lingerie around the midsection, and puffy office pants. It just doesn’t feel like a coherent design to us.
Salma Hayek in Gucci
Madam is SERVING. When your husband owns the company, you better show up for the company party looking like it. We really don’t like the feathers and don’t think they add anything to the look except for unneeded volume, but the rest of the look is pure stunning – in that tacky sort of Gucci way, of course.
