Dua Lipa in Moschino on “Jimmy Kimmel Live”

We tend to think of Miss Dua’s public style as one that’s a bit all over the map. We also tend to think her age and her job as a pop star practically demand that she not restrict herself to one sort of style, so she’s doing things right. For Jimmy Kimmel Live, she served up a little Moschino Barbie action:

It’s cute and bold, but also basic and simple in that fashion doll sort of way. The dress is just okay, but the boots take it to another level. It’s a shame it’s for a Zoom appearance (Should we try and make “Zoomppearance” a thing?) because it would have looked really cute and memorable walking out onto a talk show set. We’re not super in-love with the hairstyle, although it’s all part of that sort of Bratz doll kind of styling that goes with this kind of look. From the glittery hair clips to the pink eyeshadow and matching pink stiletto boots, whatever else you can say about this look, it’s extremely cohesive, on brand, and well-curated.
