What does a star do when her Judy Garland biopic gets rained out? Why, go under the rainbow, of course.
Kudos to the P.R. people who made sure there were plenty of rainbows on hand. It was a smart and highly photogenic choice. As for the dress… well… we’ll give her credit for picking something interesting while sticking to her rather rigid silhouette preferences (defined waist, pencil skirt, stiletto pumps), but that neckline is too goofy for words and the fit seems kind off around the sleeves and waist. And while this isn’t a crit so much as a complaint, we don’t much like that color.
Still…
It’s a pretty great red carpet moment nonetheless. Sometimes it’s not about the dress at all.
