Kittens, it’s been a pretty quiet sort of week on the celebrity fashion front, the efforts of one Zendaya notwithstanding. This time of year, we’re faced with a small handful of celebs taking advantage of the momentary lull in entertainment and fashion coverage and hitting the promo trail hard. This is why we’ve been seeing so much of Olivia Munn, for instance. Right there alongside her in the spotlight-grabbing sweepstakes this week is Miss Chrissy, who’s been working that trail hard.

This isn’t exactly the most exciting look in the world, but we find that people tend to form strong opinions about her, which makes just about anything she’s wearing a little discussable. As we noted earlier in the week, she’s changed her style a bit, with a focus on shape, color, and legs. It’s a good combination for her because it allows her switch things up quite a bit while maintaining a certain signature look. As for this, it all works for us, even though we’re not fans of matchy shoes or long trailing things hanging off short hems. And of course that half-jacket thing strikes us as wholly unnecessary. But we like it. She’s got a knack for working certain types of fussy or overdesigned styles. The fact that everything’s one color and the styling is fairly simple helps keep the look … contained, for lack of a better word. We know how we’d vote on this one, but like we said, girlfriend has a tendency to inspire some opinions. Let’s hear them.
