Don’t be fooled by the photo above. You might think, from the limited evidence presented, that Miss Amber was serving up some form of modern Grace Kelly-esque eleganza. You would be mistaken, however:

Our verbatim first 90 seconds of commentary:

Why?

Why would you …

Just…why?

(repeat 30 times)

We get that the top half of the dress might seem a little standard and conventional and that one might consider some sort of twist in the design or styling of the bottom half to be a good idea. Take away the belt, cut off the sleeve-trains and match the textile of the skirt to the bodice. You do all that and you have what? A boring dress. So stipulated. But that doesn’t mean the aforementioned big-ass belt, sleeve-trains, and floaty sheer skirt are improvements. They just weird up a basic gown. The payoffs aren’t worth it. We think the sheer bottom half could work, but not with that belt. We think the belt could work, but not with the sleeves and floaty skirt. Some editing is needed here.

In other news, her head styling is gorgeous.
