With Elle Fanning moving into a seemingly more sophisticated and grown-up version of Miu Miu, the brand could do itself a huge favor by tapping Amandla for the younger, funkier stuff. Both of these looks are way more suited to her than they would have been for Elle.
Everything about this look, from the funky platforms to the tweed skirt to the big-ass fake diamond on the bag is adorable. We could take or leave the brand lettering on the blouse. It’s cute, but we can’t say the look needed that graphic touch.
This is… a little less cute. We love the skirt and the shoes – looks like platforms may be a thing again soon – but the sheer top’s a big yawn. Nothing against her, but it feels pretty stale at this point.
