Miss A stepped out in some very … discussable looks. And by that we mean one of them is hideous and the other is kind of fabulous. May as well rip the band-aid off all at once, darlings. This way, you’re prepared.
Awkwafina at the Sundance Film Festival in Ports 1961
Were you prepared enough? Or are your senses still reeling from this onslaught. Yes, she really is wearing a terribly fitted peach pantsuit with open slits running halfway up the front of the jacket. We trust that description serves as its own critique. We have to assume there was bribery or blackmail imvolved in this choice because we can’t fathom why anyone would willingly choose to wear it in public – and at Sundance! Honey, you could’ve worn snow boots and the rattiest-ass sweater known to man and you would’ve gotten press coverage. This is the one time where you don’t have to worry too much about chicness or edginess.
Awkwafina at the SAG Awards in Mimi Plange
This is kind of fabulous, but a bit too editorial for real life. It takes a good picture, so long as she keeps her arms down. Granted, there’s no good way to wear a gown on a swing, which is why we’ve tried hard to refrain from featuring the horrible idea in our coverage. Anyway, it’s a striking look, but she’s too exuberant and full of personality to restrain herself like this.
