Well, it looks like Mr. Rami “I don’t know her” Malek is pretty close to a lock on the Oscar. We wish we could say we were happy for Boo, but everything surrounding this film leaves a bad taste. Still, we wouldn’t suggest he was unworthy.
And maybe our disappointment is coloring our perceptions, but it sure does seem like he’s taken a major step back from the sharp-as-shit dressing he was doing as recently as six months ago. Obviously, his poledance is paying off for him, but in light of everything, it feels distinctly like a deliberate toning-down.
Anyway, the tux is nice enough but the fit is off and those shoes look terrible with it.
