Every time Amy heeds our advice to get away from minimalism and repeating the same shade of blue in her style choices over and over again, the results don’t exactly speak to our expertise. In other words, her red carpetry is boring and whenever she tries to do what we ask and mix things up …
We’re not sure how to take the results.
It’s … not dull, we suppose. But she kind of has a history of going for the one-shoulder neckline so this isn’t as outside her comfort zone as it might seem at first glance; especially when you consider the almost total lack of color. She doesn’t look terrible in neutrals or blacks, but she really does call for much bolder and brighter looks than this, in our opinion. And the design, while admirably non-minimalist, is … kind of silly-looking? We don’t know. We feel like we’re being mean because this dress isn’t what we would have recommended. You make the call on this one, kittens.
Amy Adams’ Funky Frock:
IN or OUT?
And doesn’t it seem like the jewelry choices don’t really go with it? We’ll shut up now.
