We can tell we’re starting to get spoiled with all the eye-popping menswear choices that have become the trend in the last year – aka, The Chadwick Effect. In a different time, we’d have automatically praised a look like this to the heavens, just for being so boldly unique and for pushing against the masculinity paradigm just a bit. But there have been so many really fabulous formal menswear looks these past few seasons that this almost comes off a bit safe.
Which is silly, of course. It’s gorgeous. This period of mild experimentation in menswear is not going to last. These things never do, we’re sorry to say. So we should probably shut the hell up and enjoy this damn cherry blossom tux while we still can. Congrats, Darren.
