Darlings, it’s all about actors talking about actors this time of year. Or rather, A-list actors with good awards-recognition prospects talking about acting. Either way, we get to judge them. Win-win!
Amy Adams in Galvan London
As we’ve been noting lately, Miss Amy’s been opting for some long-sleeved, full-skirted, defined-waist dresses that really look great on her. We think the rule about redheads avoiding wearing red is largely nonsense, but this shade is just a little harsh. Granted, these aren’t the best lighting conditions, but something a little deeper and darker in the red family would probably look amazing on her. The sandals are a no.
Armie Hammer in Officine Generale
You are at a professional event with photographers where your peers have all dressed appropriately for the occasion. Between this and the Stan Lee nonsense last week, you’re coming off a little douchey, sir.
Charlize Theron
Miss Charlize, you had us until we got to the feet. Or rather, where the feet are normally located.
Michael B. Jordan
He is forever Boo, but we’re sensing some issues with the fit of his suits lately. Michael B., you need to talk too The Rock and get the name of his swoleness-tailor.
Nicole Kidman in Prada
Miss Nicole, as the two queens who insisted for years that you should work as much black into your style rotation as possible, we apologize profusely. It turns out, you can’t make it sing every time. Honestly though, it should be Miuccia Prada apologizing to you right now because this is all kind of drab and awful.
