US First Lady Michelle Obama attends the White House Correspondents’ Association annual dinner at The Washington Hilton Hotel in Washington.
This is… not setting us on fire.
In fact, the more we look at it, the more surprised we are by the choice, because it seems to us there are some clear and obvious reasons not to wear it. For one, the color – or lack of it – does nothing for her. For another, the shape and style aren’t very flattering. Those spaghetti straps and that neckline have a broadening effect and the silhouette sort of disappears completely near her waist. Plus she’s wearing a beaded fishnet – or at least, that’s what it looks like.
To be fair, everything above the neck is working like gangbusters, but we’re not feeling FLO’s style choices here.
