In the entertainment industry that exists in our heads (which, like so many things that exist in one’s head is infinitely more interesting than the real thing), starlets who hit the red carpet to promote their movie dressed to the nines only to be met by a male co-star who couldn’t even bother to brush his hair are within their rights to take off a shoe and beat them roughly about the head and neck in front of photographers.
Alas, we’re stuck here in the real world, where they just smile through gritted teeth.
Sam Claflin and Lily Collins attend the premiere of “Love, Rosie” during the 2014 Rome Film Festival in Rome, Italy. Lily Collins is wearing an Elie Saab couture strapless chiffon gown accessorized with earrings by Norman Silverman and ring by EF Collection rings, Vita Fede and Melissa Kaye Jewelry.
She is serving up Audrey/Liz realness, which you kind of have to do when you look like her. The skirt is gorgeous and dramatic, but that bustline never looks good on anyone. Looks great from the back, though. It feels like something’s a little off. Is it the lip color, which we don’t love? Or is it the understated jewelry? We suppose her Liz-ness is making us want to see some serious bling. But really, the outfit could use a little something, right?
As for him, we can’t even. The suit is nice, the shoes are nice, but that head is tragic. From the neck up, he looks homeless.
