Hmmm. We’re not sure, you guys.

On the one hand, we like it when she brings a little edge into her fashion (most of the time). On the other hand, we don’t think the leather jacket really does all that much for the look, nor do we think it’s improved by the removal of the shirt. At first glance, we were all “Ooooooh, check out Miss Dark n’ Edgy over here!”

Shut up. We totally talk that way.

But after looking at it for more than a couple seconds, we’re all “Enh. It’s another lace skirt and lace bra. It’s gonna take more than the old motorcycle jacket deployment to bring this anywhere to interesting.”

And THEN we were all “Let’s open it up to a vote!” Then we made out.

Bitter Kittens make the call:

OUT! Oh, please. You ain’t no Cher, girl.

Poor Li Bingbing has had to wait a very long time to hear what y’all thought of her boring old gown. Turns out? You all thought it was a boring old gown too. Or at least, a majority of you did. OUT.

  • Oh Hermione. You were never goth and you were never going to be. Put the shirt back on girl.

    Love the earring tho.

  • RussellH88

Emma Watson is preparing for her new role… Kristen Stewart.

    • Alyssa

That was my first thought as well!

    • Alloy Jane

KStew cosplay really should not be a thing. It barely works for her. On Emma Watson? Not so much.

    • Leah Elzinga

And here I was yelling at her to give Wynnona Ryder back her circa 1994 outfit. Generational thing? Wait, does this mean KStew is the new Wyno?

      • Vtg Fashion Library

        Only if she starts shoplifting.

    • Anglow

      This is EXACTLY my thought!

  • I shouldn’t like this, but Emma is making it work for me. I AM HERE FOR YOU, HERMIONE! IN!

  • Ganoc

OUT! That’s just tacky, plus, the clean face, though utterly gorgeous, doesn’t match the dark’n’edgy vibe.

    • jtabz

This is a look that calls for some dark eye makeup, isn’t it?

      • Ganoc

Goth panda eyes agogo, that’s what I’m after.

  • Lorelei_D

Its a silly little outfit, but I love the understated makeup & hair and the RED shoes. She gets an IN because she’s young enough to get a pass on the unwise elements.

    • Daisy Walker

Lurve the makeup! She mixes up her looks so well. I AM HERE FOR YOU HERMIONE!

    • H2olovngrl

I, too, am won over by the red shoes. They make the whole outfit in my opinion.

  • Heather B.

Is that a lace pocket? Whatever it is, OUT.

    • TM

Aw, but pockets make dresses/skirts INFINITELY better… even if they’re oddly placed…and in lace…and super see-through… and yah. But pockets!

    • Carleenml

I cracked up…how does one put one’s hand in a lace pocket? things I never thought I’d see…

    • bitchybitchybitchy

The pocket makes this even worse.

  • Vegas Girl

I actually like it better without the jacket, but still a painful OUT.

    • Lizzyisi

Me, too! I’m going with out, too, even though I love the shoes.

If she’s worn the skirt with just the crisp white menshirt (although not visible below the waist as on the model), I would have voted IN. The clean face would have worked with that outfit but not with this one.

  • sk8tfan

Set this outfit free to go to Kristen Stewart with her bad dye job.

    • Carina

      It’s for a movie

      • Imasewsure

I’m going to start using that line every time I look like crap… “it’s for a movie”…
In real life I am much prettier (and younger, taller, and/or more fashionable) – it’s just this damn director and his crazy ideas (about sweat pants, no makeup, grey hair, flip flops, etc).

  • mjude

    IN. love you Hermione!

  • bayusc

Too much going on in one look.

  • TheLaurenJean

I love her, so In. But if it was anyone else, it would be an out for being dull.

  • BrianaJC

Things I love: the earring, the bra top, and the lace pocket (that’s at least a new deployment of lace, right?). Things I hate – the jacket (not on it’s own merit, just with the outfit) and the goddamn, unlined lace skirt. Neutral on the shoes. So, I think that adds up to – IN.

  • crush on you

Hmmm, let’s see. I’m on that same boat: not naturally edgy but love the look to pieces and keep trying to go there. I don’t necessarily get behind the lace trend, find it boring, but I think it kinda works for her figure and skin type here. I hate the styling on the model and like hers better. And I can forgive the jacket because come on, she’d need something to cover up if she’s cold right? why not a motorcycle jacket? Love the earring, and her makeup.

I do agree with RussellH88 that the overall look is mostly Kristen Stewart ‘s.

So in, but mostly for the intention.

  • hughman

With the leather jacket, she is one hairbow from “Desperately Seeking Susan”.

    • Sarah

She’d need to cut that skirt off to a mini. You can’t make out with Aidan Quinn on a washing machine with all that lace in the way!

  • flamingoNW

From the waist up = in, below = out. Overall: out. The red pointy toe shoes were the last straw. But her head is possibly best ever.

  • Alyssa

Out. Love her, love the earring, love the jacket. The rest looks like it belongs on Kristen Stewart. And I do not understand see-through or lace pockets. Especially lace…won’t your stuff just fall out?

  • Anna

Hermione rebels and dates a boy from Slytherin. She stole his jacket to go to the show.

    • mjude

      and then?

      • Skippymom1

They had little Slythedors and dressed them in black with red and gold accessories. Or red with black and gold accessories?

        • demidaemon

Wouldn’t that be red and green with black accessories?

That sounds like a horrible Goth Christmas.

          • Skippymom1

I think ours both do. But OH – the possibilities!

      • Anna

It was only really a partial rebellion. She mostly wanted to do away with the stigma surrounding being housed in Slytherin, especially after everything they learned about Professor Snape.

She dated him when she went back to Hogwarts to finish up her 7th year, and then dated off and on while she was pursuing her Magical Law Enforcement degree. He was *that guy* that was kind of a slacker, and she knew she was too good for him, but he was SOO CUTE with dreamy hazel eyes, a good kisser and their chemistry was off the charts, so she was willing to overlook his other faults. She finally kicked him to the curb, though, when her grades started sliding just a little bit (by Hermione standards) in semester 2, the year before she was supposed to finish her degree.

  • Boulderista

IN … but I sort of wish the lace skirt was high-waisted, wide-legged lace trousers instead to take the whole look over the top. (Double IN because she seems to have not made the choice to sport granny panties with the see-thru skirt)

  • crash1212

IN. It would be WAY in if the lace stopped with the skirt and that sheer nonsense wasn’t happening. I love the red shoes. I love the leather jacket with it. I love her entire head.

  • c.

In! Because I love her, her face and the top half is really working for me and I also like when she brings some edge into her style. All that outweighs how unfortunate the bottom half is. The shoes are the biggest NO of it all.

  • Innuendo

A little too LARP-ish for me, but I do like her hair and the earring. I’m just thinking Vampire the Masquerade on the rest of the outfit. Out.

  • Beardslee

Head to toe silliness. I love you Emma, you are so smart and you are HERMIONE, but this is an out. I hate to see you as a fashion victim.

  • Constant Reader

It breaks my heart, but OUT. The red pointy shoes and the precious little handbag go with an entirely different outfit and that’s what pushed me over the edge. But I still maintain that when Emma gets it wrong, it’s in an interesting, fashion-y way instead of a WTF way.

    • alyce1213

      Precisely my feeling and thoughts.

    • marlie

Exactly. That’s why I was having so much trouble deciding if this was in or out. It’s not quite a successful look, but it’s not that bad, AND still has some interesting elements.

    • decormaven

The tiny handbag bugs. A positive: I’m loving her makeup.

  • Janet B

I like: from head to toe.
Not my thing or hers, but she looks good.

  • Belvane

IN. So glad she didn’t wear the white shirt under it. (That little girl looks very happy to be sitting next to Hermione.)

  • MW

IN. It’s the shoes I have an issue with actually but I can get over it.

  • Sobaika

Feels a bit forced, but I like her branching out of her style lane. Mild In.

  • Eclectic Mayhem

Looks better without the leather jacket, would’ve looked better with the blouse thing. But still IN because. Just because.

  • Emily Giovanni

Did she lose an earring? Or is that on purpose?

  • Gatto Nero

I think she makes the lace getup work — just. The minimal makeup and casually gathered-back hair help.
And I like the leather jacket — but not with this outfit.
I’m on the fence, too. But because I like her (and her style instincts in general) so much, she squeaks by with an IN.

  • CPK1

Out. Her face is as stunning as ever but in this get-up she reminds me of myself (in a much lower-rent version of course) hitting the clubs in early 80s Manchester

  • Bebe

OUT. I don’t like it on her at all. GTNYD. When I scrolled up until I couldn’t see her head and imagined Kristen Stewart giving primo bitch face it got much better.

  • JauntyJohn

IN. Never crazy about this trend but she is pulling it off. I AM HERE FOR YOU, HERMIONE.

  • carrie

Take off the jacket and change the shoes. Love.

  • Julie Chase

It’s a moderate IN because I’m pretending the bottom isn’t sheer.

  • MilaXX

OUT! She didn’t stick the landing. The leather jacket doesn’t really edge this up. It simply doesn’t go with the look. The red shoes are distracting. I like the face and I like the bag. The outfit is just been there/done that.

  • almondemy

I want to give her head, jacket and feet an IN, but the rest OUT. I kind of love the hair and dangly earring and freshish face with a grungy jacket. But the skirt is so bad. SO bad. I mean, the whole thing looks like a costume for a movie. Maybe this really is an OUT.

  • teensmom99

OUT. I wanted to like it and I might have been tricked into liking it if the skirt were fully lined. But the truth is the jacket is the best piece but it just doesn’t go and even Emma’s beauty doesn’t really make a lace bikini top and lace maxi skirt work . . . and they certainly don’t go with the jacket.

  • Terri Terri

I can’t get past how beautiful her face looks.

  • Denise Rambo

If those shoes are suede, it’s OUT for me!

  • Fanny_Trollope

  • SuzyQuzey

Eh. I feel like I’ve seen this before. Love the earring, but would have loved it more as a pair.

  • gabbilevy

    I’m sure. OUT.

  • Lily

Makeup and hair? IN! Fresh-faced and beautiful.
Outfit? OUT Tweestars really need to think about proportion. I may have liked this better with a short skirt and a jacket that was more fitted. As it was, it overwhelmed her completely.

  • Abigail Tyrrell

    Waaaaay in!

  • In. I love you, Hermione!!!

Honestly, I’d like it a lot more if it was paired with a different bottom, but I can accept the skirt.

  • mmebam

I don’t think she’s feeling it. If you’re not feeling it, then I can’t feel it for you. #Out

  • marlie

Uncles, it’s terribly mean of you to give us this at the end of the day when all of our brains are fried (at least, mine is). Anyway… I could take this with the jacket, and the skirt at knee length. The way that Emma is wearing it is ok, but just ok. And we all know she can do so much better. If she hadn’t worn this with the jacket, I would have given it a lowercase ‘in,’ but since we have to rate the outfit as a whole, it’s a lowercase ‘out’ from me.

ETA: I think she looks beautiful, and I love the sun-kissed freckles. I also love her earring, but I wish she was wearing both.

    • TwiddlyStun

Knee length! Yes, that’s what was missing.

  • OffToSeeHim

In for styling it SOOOO much better than the model!

  • In. Cute and weird, perfect for a girl her age (just no one else). Plus, such a better take on young/edgy look than most of her peers.

    • TwiddlyStun

Exactly my tipping point. I’m afraid I judged this on a curve.

  • VFinn

I hate it. I really, really hate it.

  • TonyGo

Miss Dark ‘n’ Edgy. The Clairol home color for the Goth set. Comes in Night Raven, Deep Amethyst, Red Witch and Dark Ocean.

  • Joanna

    With the jacket – OUT.
    Without the jacket – IN.

  • Carleenml

The 80s called, they want their Breakfast Club make up back.

  • So sick of black lace. OUT

  • schadenfreudelicious

I’ll take that leather jacket, the rest you can burn…and while her clean face is gorgeous this look called for some colour on her lips and a more dramatic OUT

  • tarqueeny

This is hideous. I really don’t like her in general, she can’t act, she always looks smug and her fashion is too hit and miss. This outfit is terrible If someone lke Kristen Stewart was wearing it you would just rip her to pieces, but because people like this boring Watson they give her a pass.

  • CB

I say out. SHE looks hot, but that has little to nothing to do with what she’s wearing.

  • Alloy Jane

Faux-edgy always gets on my nerves plus lace pockets? Really? It’s a dumb look. OUT.

  • Shug

I think it’s a really cool look, it just doesn’t feel right for July.

  • Lizzy

The thing I like the least is the mis-matched earring… cause it just looks like she lost one in the car on the way over.

  • NMMagpie

    Emma… Emma… drat. OUT.

  • Shelby

I like the look on her … but I don’t think it’s a good look for summer and I hate the red pumps with it. Out.

  • She’s really doing her young Ally Sheedy thing in these pics.

  • StrandedFashionista

Out. Not a fan of any of it.

  • TwiddlyStun

I didn’t like the white dress under the black lace dress on the model (it seems like more than a shirt), but I might have liked a shimmery gray? Not sure.Without the underlayer, I do like it with the jacket, but I don’t like it without it. I’m so torn! I do like her overall look and feel like the A for effort pushes this ever so slightly to IN. But I expect to see improvement on your next project, missy, or you will need to attend tutoring with your Uncles T and Lo.

  • Kristi Mitchell

Out. Needs a stronger lip and should have kept the white shirt and ditched the leather jacket in summer. I do like the red pumps tho.

  • ashtangajunkie

Out. There’s something I like about it, but the jacket and red shoes were mistakes and I wish she had worn both of those pretty earrings.

  • mjmiller77

Out. Luv the makeup and hair. Yuck on the lace (can it just go away please??). The jacket does nothing for it. But I’m glad she isn’t wearing the white dress/skirt/shirt whatever under – weird!

  • brown-eyed girl

Out. Hermione’s facial expression says she thinks it’s an out, too.

  • KT

Nope – these things don’t quite go together. She herself looks gorgeous, and I love the idea of her in that leather jacket, it just needs to be paired with something else.

Could not be more bored with the outfit itself, though I can’t say she looks bad, necessarily. Shoes are a total misfire, and that singular earring is trying too hard. Sorry girl, you’re out.

  • Qitkat

In, only because I so wish I had dressed more often like this at her age, as I was always the serious one, so I think I get her, who wanted her inner goth (well, not that exactly, as it didn’t exist back in the cave), badgirl to break loose and party. I’ve got a couple of stories 😉

  • Lori

Out. I’d actually like the accessories with a different outfit and she looks terrific, but the skirt and bra top are a big old No.

  • Fordzo a.k.a. Fancy Mukluks

In the imaginary world in my head, she borrowed this jacket from JLaw after they had a sleep over where they ate ice cream and made a slam book about Taylor Swift.

    • Qitkat

You better copyright this, because imaginary screenplay is taking shape in my head. It’s already got more going for it than 50 Shades of Desperate Sex.

  • Nazzzy

    In. LOVE her head.

    A sentence I never thought I’d utter.

  • rhône

i have worn almost this exact outfit before. this is the closest i have ever seen a celebrity match my personal style. i can’t decide if that means she gets an in or an out.

eh, she’s in. you work that biker funeral shit emma.

  • decormaven

Minus jacket, shoes, and handbag: In.

  • PinkyK

    I kind of like it….In

  • fringebenefit

    IN–an enthusiastic IN!

  • amanda lynn

  • Lindsey Romain

I think she looks pretty fierce. IN.

  • Mothra

  • somebody blonde

Out. The jacket doesn’t go, and the look isn’t even very good without it. Her head looks good though.

  • evave2

No this is on Lindsay Lohan level of wtf.

  • imustacheyouaquestion

IN. I like it much better without the leather jacket. – and i adore her-

  • Brittney P

IN. It may be another lace skirt and dress, but she is making work (lower case and spelled correctly, because, alas, she is not WERQing it). Love the shoes.

  • GeoDiva

If the skirt was lined, then it would be an IN…..but I just can not do sheer/see-through skirts anymore! So OUT.

  • KinoEye

IN. She’s on the irrational love list, for one. For another, this is pretty close to working for her. If you lopped off the skirt where it becomes sheer, I’d like it a whole lot more. It’s lace, sure, but she’s carrying it in a way that doesn’t look cheap. Also, DAT EARRING.

  • BobStPaul

Out. Nothing quite works yet she still doesn’t look really bad.

  • Linderella

A non-capitalized “out.” Liked it in the first shot, but then when I scrolled down and saw it was floor-length it became a no. She is saved by the jacket and by not wearing the same hideous sneakers as the model, who is styled like Heidi Goes Dominatrix (Heidiatrix?).

  • KendraMR

  • demidaemon

Sorry, the proportions are all off, even though I liked how she styled it. But, it’s still lace and not correctly proportioned, so OUT.

  • rebeemoon

    IN. All I’m sayin.

  • altalinda

Marginal in. It accomplishes her (I’m guessing) goal of showing that she’s all grown up and not Hermione.

  • Imasewsure

Face so pretty… love the jacket… hate everything else. OUT

  • Moocows

None of this is working, from the overdone sheer panel skirt, the mismatched accessories, the lack of booboo support, and a leather jacket that is far too heavy for her dainty frame and outfit. At least her face is really well done. Save the leather and lace for the bedroom!

  • PeaceBang

The jacket was too heavy and goth, but without it the lace ensemble is only kind of wrong, and not disastrously so. It’s interesting Her face is TO DIE and the earrings are fab and she’s so lovely and poised. Out of solidarity for a sister Witch I am going to pretend I didn’t see the shoes and the bag. In. Just a small In.

  • Sophie

I loved the small picture before I clicked on it, with just her face and the leather jacket. Then I was disappointed. She should have kept the shirt. Out.

  • Cousin_Rose

Hate it with the shirt. In.

  • Man Dala

IN: She’s such a natural beauty, look at her freckles in the close-up. Plus she’s got the right attitude, a confident look on her face and the perfect body to show some skin.

  • sienna elm

I like it. It’s her foray into punk. Let’s let her have this one.

  • MarieLD

I’m always here for Hermione. In.

  • Jangle57

As much as I want to give her a pass, I just can’t – OUT

  • bitchybitchybitchy

I’m over the bra as outerwear, and the opaque mini with long overskirt. OUT. Now, Missy, get out that wand and perform a good transformation spell!

  • Lilah

  • lunchcoma

OUT. The jacket is a worthwhile piece of clothing that would be fine with other outfits, and her face looks very pretty. That’s the nicest thing I can say about this.

  • OUT. I was almost ready to go along but then she stuck her hand in her see-through pocket and bam! we’re out. But I do like when she brings the edge. In other news, I’m glad you guys had time to make out. Keep love alive darlings – if the gays can’t fix the institution of marriage then no one can.

    • Laura Abrahamsen

Went back to look at the see-through pocket and now I hate it. OUT.

  • elemspbee

IN. It’s a sitting down outfit, f’sho. And love that earring!

  • LeelaST

OUT. At least she’s not dressed like an Amish stripper (model look) but eyelet/lace see-through bra-top pointy red pumps green purse biker jacket -YIKES!

  • frannyprof

Out. Tired of the black lace/belly skin on the RC. Over. Done. Moving on.

  • Ma. Gabriella Dutari

It’s not that edgy really; that’s why when she takes off the jacket, the lonely dangly pendant isn’t working. Meh

  • myandyleigh

You may not know, gentlemen, but I do. OUT!

  • Michelle Lim

I applaud her effort in trying something different, but this doesn’t flatter one bit.

  • prisma

  • Haley Buchanan

Why do most of these look like Terry Richardson shot them?

I’m actually okay with the waist-up and the red pumps. The pants are pretty hideous though, hideous enough to push this right on over the edge to OUT.

  • BlackbeardsWyfe

    Meh……Her gays let her down…..

  • higgledypiggledy

In. It’s not perfect, and the shoes are a needle-scratch. But her makeup is divine – luminous, effortless.

  • RescueMe23

I am here for you Hermione! IN

  • quiltrx

It pains me to give her a weak ‘out’. I appreciate the effort but it’s not quite ‘there’.
On another note…Terry Richardson is taking pics at fashion shows now??? HELLA unflattering lighting.

  • majorbedhead

Oh, no, Hermione. You could probably rock a goth look, but this isn’t it.

  • stubbornthoughts

IN. I like it even more without the jacket, and I’d like to see the skirt more knee-high, but I really dig this on her.

    • Shawn EH

She’s like Bad Keri Russell’s mean little sister!

  • FibonacciSequins

If only she wore cigarette pants or a simple skirt. I could deal with the bandeau top if everything else was working. So close. Out. 🙁

  • I appreciate that she’s willing to experiment with her style, but the best thing we can do with failures is learn from them. Never again, Emma, okay?

  • kfizz

IN. She looks awesome. Without the jacket, that is. The jacket belongs on an entirely different outfit. Love the earring.

  • Carly Clement

In!!! Love it in every way! (besides the shoes which are distracting… I would have preferred a bad ass studded heel!)

  • a_liking

actually like the look without the jacket. she’s beautiful enough to pull it off. the jacket, though neat, really just detracts from everything imo. IN?

  • ourabsent

The outfit is a mess but I’m voting IN because she makes it work in the way only a 20 something, beautiful, brilliant Muggle Lass can.

  • annla

IN. Better without the jacket though.

  • random_poster

IN. I went back and forth the same as a lot of others, and the power of Emma tipped it in her favor.

  • Columbinia

If it stopped at knee length it would be a yes. But the bare midriff and long, see-through lace skirt says 1940s Esther Williams musical, so OUT. Also, the see-through lace pocket is creepy.

  • ankali

NOPE. Out. Had the skirt been lined in nude all the way down, she might have gotten an In.

  • webslice33

  • Uncle Spike

I won’t give this much thought. First impulse: In. Final answer.

  • Shawn EH

She beats the model. Which is my definition of IN!

  • Slanted & Enchanted

IN. I would wear this entire outfit. Except maybe with different shoes.

I’ve realized that this is nearly always the standard by which I judge IN our OUT posts. No shame.

  • livesarah

The jacket is the only nice thing about this cruddy outfit, but she is selling it. She looks so good she could be in an ad campaign. I hope they are paying her, because that outfit, whatever it may cost, isn’t worth a dime.

  • deech_sea

I like it either without the shoes or without the jacket, but not altogether at once.

  • rainwood1

I’m going with a very cautious IN. Cool jacket but the outfit looks better without it. Love the hair and makeup and the face she’s giving in the photos.

  • Synnae

IN- only just because surprisingly I liked it more without the leather jacket. And I am not a fan of bra and long skirts per se. Normally I only like it on RiRi (which says more about how one gets used to RiRi’s sartorial choices…)

I think she had the right idea, she just picked the wrong leather jacket to go with this outfit. It is not tailored enough and too long. It should have ended on her waist and been tighter in the shoulders and rib cage.

  • Annaline39

Out. Looks sloppy and ill fitting

  • SophieB210

OUT. She looks pale and uncomfortable.

  • holla

Out for emma, would like to see this get up on HBC!!!

  • carnush

IN for me. It’s not the edgiest, but it’s cute and not boring. Plus lovely makeup.

  • ChaquitaPhilly

IN! Love the earring and the black lace, and her makeup looks wonderful! Give the girl a break!

  • StarburstLady

  • Wink

OUT… but better without the jacket. (The jacket is great, but not with this.)

OUT. Period. She is wearing exposed underwear in public.

  • Since I got to this conversation late, everyone has already said what I think: I like it better with the jacket, I love the shoes, she’s young enough to carry this off, I love the makeup, and I am even a fan of the asymmetrical earrings, so much so that all of that outweighs my instinctive hate of too much laser-cut semi-sheer material and bare midriffs. So, yes, I too am here for you, Hermione——IN.

  • queeniethebold

The one-earring thing is lame, and i think i’ve been seeing a lot. i have always worn asymmetrical earrings (two in each ear), but it looks as if she is only wearing the one long dangly one with nothing in the other ear … but maybe there’s a stud of some kind that i can’t see?

    Also: out.

  • Athenrein

LOVE the shoes and jacket. But the dress looks better without them. And I hate the half-lined skirt. But the face and hair are nice. GAH. Fine fine, IN, because I have a crush on her.

  • MarissaLG

I’m gonna give the old girl an OUT. Love the hair and makeup, and the top iisn’t bad but the skirt & leather jacket combo is very weird and the shoes are a weird afterthought. Without the jacket the skirt still looks weird. Try again, Ems.

  • MissFern

    I love it. I can’t help it.

Out. This is silly clothing. This would be silly clothing on Cher. Even on younger Cher – but she’d wear if for an Appearance or as part of a Performance. Even she wouldn’t wear it to sit around on folding chairs* and watch a fashion collection walk by.

*ETA: Upon closer inspection, they’re not folding chairs. Gonna let it stand, though, because they’re spiritually folding chairs. Union grunts unloaded them from a truck by the hundreds, at one point.

  • Lilithcat

The skirt is tacky, though I actually kind of like the top. But the jacket looks like she suddenly realized it was chilly out and grabbed the first thing she could find.

  • boweryboy

OUT. I like the jacket but that’s it.

  • The only thing good about this is the earring.

  • enchanted216

    OUT. That is not fashion.

  • Anapestic

IN, because she’s somehow making it work, but it would be so much better if the lace skirt stopped where the underskirt stops.

  • mdcoon127

She definitely looks better styled in it than the model…

  • kategs

Love her face (freckles!), loathe the outfit. Out.

  • lynnlee

She looks young and cute. I give it a thumbs up.

  • Bernadette

Out! Love the lace crop top and I could see it with leather shorts or some such noise if she really wanted to go edgy. That skirt is a no, and the clutch is just awkward.

  • conniemd

    Out. GTINYD

  • FuhUgh

Out. It’s just kind of derivative of every other bad lace dress/midriff top we’ve seen lately.

  • blondie65

Love the jacket…just not with this outfit. Hate the skirt…well…could work if it were the length where the lining stops. Not a fan of what is essentially a lace bikini top being used as fashion (excuse me while I yell at the kids to get off my lawn!!). But, she’s experimenting and stretching and her face & hair are perfection. Overall, the look does not make me roll my eyes & sigh “of course” if anyone else were wearing it. Maybe b/c of my irrational love for Emma. Or Hermione. Or b/c it is inspiring a story in my head where she’s a double agent going undercover in an attempt to infiltrate a group of rouge Slytherins, led by Draco & Lucius, who are still loyal to “You Know Who” whereby she seduces Draco to get necessary info & it is sooo hot….and … and… oh ….um….in.

  • MaggieMae

Tear off that sheer panel, and make it a mini, and I’m with you Hermione!

  • Jennifer Schiller

I like it. I’m going in. She looks hot and she knows it. That smirk says everything.

  • Mazenderan

I always feel that her clothes are wearing her, rather than the other way round. I’m sure she likes what she wears, but it doesn’t feel like ‘her’ style – more like playing dress-up.

  • Violentcello

I like it heaps better without the business shirt under it. And her face: Amazing.

In, if only because it’s not an Out.

  • kmk05

Her face is magical. I can leave pretty much everything else, but DAMN that face. And that earring. IN.

  • Sam Smith

That second shot is fantastic, very striking, but I really don’t care for the outfit at all. But something in that shot really works.

  • Dagney

  • snarkykitten

Da fuq is with the Terry Richardson styling? hell to the no.

  • KTI4000

I can’t help it. I hate the mini skirt under long sheer skirt look. It’s the thing right now but I can’t get behind it. If it doesn’t do anything for the hottest women on earth, why should it catch on?

  • Yoshio

  • lundibleu

    A cautious IN from me.

Saying that, I like the jacket, makeup, hair, earring and shoes much more than the actual clothes.

  • I could never pan someone with brows that perfect…IN!

  • trisker

In. To my eyes she is Doing this strange getup. The model looks ridiculous. Emma looks cool.

  • minnye

Well, she doesn’t look very comfortable and I would like it better if the jacket were cropped. I do think she pulls it off though. It’s a great look from the waist up. The black lace is great on her, The clean face was the way to go. I think dramatic makeup would have been too harsh & would have tipped the look into costumey. Love the earring!! IN.

  • Clash D

OUT. Strangely it’s the shoes that I find a truly odd choice, given the whack-ness of this ensemble.

  • It’s an in for me.

  • MandyM

Out. This is Kristen Stewart’s skirt/bra/jacket. Send it back to her.

  • GTrain

  • Rrroza

IN. Logically this shouldnt work for me, but somehow I like it!

  • Pterodactyl111

  • Sara Hottman

    Love the look!

  • Jecca2244

i’m more fascinated that she was sitting next to a child at a couture show.

  • Guest

This may be exactly the response you’d expect from a 22-year-old living in NYC- IN. I’d wear that tomorrow.

  • Tami from Seattle

I dig it. She is of an age where she can pull it off.

  • Alyssa_T_Robot

i cannot say, how IN i am.

  • Jenna Marie

  • lalahartma

  • I….kind of like it? But I might be swayed by the asymmetrical earring.

  • lilazander

OUT! Give the jacket back to your brother.

  • Hazuki Chino

K-Stew!!! And WTF with those shoes!!!!!?????!!!

  • Mousentrude

Out. Could have been in if the skirt were fully lined. Shoes are fab though.

  • Andrea Lentz

how could this be anything but a yes?! She looks damn amazing!
