Posted on July 25, 2014

Darlings, it’s Friday morning, which means you’re all in the mood for something like this:

And we’re just the gays to give it to you.

Mercy, he does fill out a vest, doesn’t he?

Trim up the neckbeard and I’m SO SOLD

    • Jackie Stewart

That is EXACTLY what I needed to go with my morning coffee.

I just got paid $7500 working off my computer this month. And if you think that’s cool, my friend has twin toddlers and made over $8k her first month. It feels so good making so much money when other people have to work for so much less. This is what I do…..

      Yes he does… *fans face*

    • Andsheewas

I’m not a beard person, but for him, I could be.

    • http://attiresmind.blogspot.com/ Kiltdntiltd

Works for me. The banker clothes need to go. I can help him with that.

      • http://www.chateauversailles.fr/homepage DaveUWSNYC

        I see a de-vestiture in his future…

      • bitchybitchybitchy

You know, we really need anatomically correct paper dolls of our favorite Sausage Friday guys-then we could dress/undress them to our naughty little BK heart’s content.

        • Gloriana Reginata

You can have the 3-D version: the 1/6 scale “action figure” (ie, doll) done by Sideshow Collectibles for Thor The Dark World . I swear, the cast for it is so good that my money is trembling in my hands, ready to be spent. (The first cast, for Thor 1, doesn’t live up. Maybe it took the success of Thor 1 and Avengers to make Sideshow pull out all the stops for the next one.)

          • bitchybitchybitchy

Don’t you love that dolls have been transformed into “action figures”? Hmm, a welldone collectible Thor The Dark World. NOw, if I can get the Loki ‘action figure’, I’d never leave my cave….

            • Gloriana Reginata

Oh woe, alas, the Loki is nowhere near as good :( :( (I got to compare them both close-up at the Sideshow booth at Comic-con, although I failed to see the real Hemsworth itself). Hopefully Sideshow will work out what might sell for Thor 3, and do a second cast of Loki the way they did of Thor….

            • bitchybitchybitchy

Drat! How was Comic-Con? Yes, let’s hope that Sideshow will do another and better cast of Loki. As much as I love Hemsworth as Thor, Hiddleston as Loki is such a delight-devious, charismatic. What more could fangirls want?

    • colleenjanel

      Mercy! Those eyes!!!

    • FrigidDiva

Better than a cup of coffee to wake me up.

    • In_Stitches

Does he need a bigger tie? Why am I looking at the tie?

      • Kristi Mitchell

        He’s wearing a tie?

      • http://www.snoskred.org/ Snoskred

Because the back of it is not sitting flat like it should be.. :) Sorry, that is my OCD speaking, lol

      • SugarSnap108

The tie is bad. All else is good. Very good.

    • Tanya Wade

I’m not superfan, but that widow’s peak is pulling it all together…..

    • http://www.snoskred.org/ Snoskred

The tie not sitting straight is giving me the horrors. :/

I will leave this one for other BK’s and cross my fingers for something a little less.. hairy. :) Nice to see y’all, switching over from night shift means I miss all the posts now. :(

      • PlethoraofBooks

Did you see the first redone Star Trek with Chris Pine? Hemsworth is in the beginning of the film as Kirk’s father… he was clean shaven and I was a gooey pile staring at him.

        • NBG

Hottest cameo ever! He fills out that Star Fleet uniform even better than he does this vest.

      • https://twitter.com/Gayer_Than_Thou Gayer Than Thou

Yes, and that one pant leg is a little wonky. I think he should take it all off and start over. Or just take it all off.

    • Anna

The vest does look pretty good on Thor, but he’s not my particular God of Thunder.

      • TinyDynamo

        My thoughts exactly!

        • Anna

His glorious adopted younger brother on the other hand…

I have no complaints. None whatsoever. Happy Friday, kittens.

    • Janet B

He is a very good looking man. I’d like to him first thing every morning.

I wish his collar weren’t so small (tie too) and his hands weren’t his pockets.

      • AnguaVonUberwald

          /blushing

    • http://foodycat.blogspot.co.uk/ Alicia

Very nice. Good warm-weather dressing up solution too.

      • marlie

This is also a good showing for someone who isn’t actually IN the movie, but who is a part of the franchise. He’s representing the “brand,” but not upstaging the stars.

        • Anna

If we’re judging the Guardians stars based on their LA appearance, he kinda is upstaging them though (especially Bradley) ;-)

          • marlie

Good point. Cooper screwed the pooch on that one. I’m sure that Hemsworth wasn’t willing to go to the premiere in sweats and sneakers just so that BCoop could look better by comparison, so he’s just working with his (and really, the rest of society’s) version of a “toned down” work-related event.

            • Anna

Hopefully the cast has re-evaluated and regrouped from that dreadful showing.

And note to Bradley: See Chris here, you’re about the same height and build. It’s REALLY not THAT difficult.

          • lunchcoma

I’m assuming that Hemsworth didn’t predict that the Guardians stars would have such a poor showing and dressed accordingly.

I’m not terribly surprised that Chris Pratt didn’t bring it, as people transitioning from television often suffer. Bradley Cooper knows better, though.

            • Anna

Re: Chris – The pieces that were chosen weren’t working for him, but I do recognize that there was effort behind it (plus grooming), so I’m definitely more willing to give Chris a pass. Bradley had no excuse for sure.

    • imspinningaround

God love him, he’s poured into that vest and those pants, but is it bad that I prefer Rush Hemsworth to Thor Hemsworth?

      • Vegas Girl

Nope, not bad at all. Rush Hemsworth is my favorite!

        • bitchybitchybitchy

          Rush Hemsworth was splendid!

          • Vegas Girl

The hubby and I started a tradition of watching Rush the night before F1 Monaco (and by night before I mean a few hours before because it starts in the middle of the night here!) and roll into the race with champagne & decadent foods. I may have agreed to all of this just to watch Rush Hemsworth. And I have a little case of the sads that it has already passed this year.

            • bitchybitchybitchy

What a great idea-and a wonderful excuse to watch Hemsworth as James Hunt. That scene where he walks into the hospital was a treat. Then again, Hemsworth and especially Daniel Bruehl as Nicky Lauda were treats.

      • Anglow

Nope! Rush Hemsworth legitimizes crush on Thor Hemsworth so you can hold head high.

      • Kimmu

Both. Both are good, though I personally like him more clean shaven myself. I don’t like beards and Chris, and Lemmy Kilmister, are the only people I make exceptions for.

      • eandh99

Rush Hemsworth is more like his natural I’d-rather-be-surfing weight, being Thor takes (according to interviews) a lot of work and a very limited protein-heavy diet to maintain. Given that he’s about 225-230 here, Dolce is doing very well by him, it can’t be easy to fit.

    • WendyD

I’ll have two to go please.

    • KES4K

      “Mercy” is right XD

    • http://Reneesance.etsy.com Reneesance

And suddenly I’m a Thor fangirl. Who knew??

    • Kimmu

There were a lot of us over on tumblr spontaneously ovulating last night. I prefer him slimmed down and his actual normal size and clean shaven, but I just can’t say no to the thundertits in that vest.

    • http://chick-habit.com Ally Huang

Those pants be a skosh too tight but I DON’T CARE!

      • Kimmu

If you look for any shots of him from behind, the skosh too tight is absolutely perfect *coughs*

        • sweetestsith

Someone does not skip leg day… His wife is a lucky lady. ;)

          • Kimmu

            His thighs are glorious.

            • eandh99

his ass isn’t bad either LOL

      • Wink

They probably fit perfectly when his hands aren’t in his pockets. But, like you, I don’t care:)

    • Ashley Ellen Wilson

mmmmm uh-huh oh yes. this is just…..whew, what a way to start a day

    • yllas

He looks great. Though as seems to be the fashion, the suit looks about a half size too small. But I love gray, love the tie, he is a fiiiiiine lookin’ man!

    • Jaeda Laurez

Whatever he wants, repeatedly. Happy Sausage Friday!

    • http://www.chifleschips.com Stefanie Argudo Mackenzie

What a fine time to be Mrs. Robinson…

    • Jacob Bowen

Wow, thank goodness the children are busy at their computers for “Fun Friday” so I can have my own…he is stunning, and I can’t believe I used to prefer Liam!

    • boweryboy

I can’t get past the boy band hair, but those pants are pulling in all the right directions…

    • NBG

And this is how we know it is Friday. I do not mind the mussed tie because I cannot imagine not mussing him if I got close enough!

    • Little_Olive

It’s a skosh tight. He’s not my husband so I’m not complaining.

    • Emily Smith

I hadn’t got past his face until you guys commented on how he fills out a vest and now I’m alternating between face and pecs.

    • Noah

It would all look better on my floor.

    • http://fibonaccisequins.storenvy.com/ Danielle

Perfectly cased sausage for this Friday. Nom nom nom.

    • http://heartprintandstyle.com/ Vivi N

      Not with that hair.

    • Wink

He makes standard gray menswear look good. Really good.

    • Jaime

Fills out … the vest. Yes, yes, of course, the vest. *ahem* I’m sorry, what were we talking about again?

    • Audrey Lee

Dude, yes. Yes yes yes. all this. Happy Friday!

    • Heather

Oh my hell. What a lovely start to the day.

    • lilibetp

You don’t have to wait until Friday to post some Chris Hemsworth. He could make any day special…

    • oldscrumby

So do we think Hemsworth has a better stylist than most guy stars, or it he just more biddable in that regard? I don’t really get a vibe from him that he’s really into clothes and fashion, but maybe he likes, or is at least committed to, looking sharp and thus goes through the extra effort of fittings that so many guy-stars seem to skip.

      • lunchcoma

That’s a good observation. I don’t always approve of Chris’s choices, but he’s rarely underdressed and his suits fit much better than most men’s.

I’m actually wondering if it’s the parents. Some families drill it into their kids that dressing appropriately is a way of showing respect, and a family with three sons in show business might have just made it clear that this is part of the job. Liam doesn’t strike me as being a fashion boy, either, but he’s also pretty good about showing up in suit and making sure it fits.

      • Kimmu

Hmm, Chris here showed up at Wimbledon a couple of weeks ago looking like total smacked ass, and I say that out of love since he is my celebrity crush, so he clearly was not employing a stylist, good or otherwise, for that weekend. Before the Thor 2 poledance I would have said he’s not really into fashion, but he wore some more unusual suits during that, and usually showed up clothes horse Hiddleston as a result, that made me think maybe he’d connected with someone who figured out how to dress him and his changing size well. He does have a pretty chill but put together personal casual style.

        • oldscrumby

Yeah, the pics of him in casual clothes are what makes me think he’s not really into clothes or fashion. He ain’t dressing up on his days off. But I do wonder, and this is a general question born of so many badly dressed guys on the red carpet, if It’s Henderson who is pushing to look so well put together for events, or if it’s his stylist and he just doesn’t fight them. Are boy stars the reason so many boy stars look bad, or are the stylists just slacking off? (Exempting the ones with no stylists of course)

          • eandh99

I didn’t think he looked so bad at Wimbledon? this is a tough body to dress given the upper body development and I think he finds it easier to get into the nice suits when he isn’t muscled up – but yeah, he’s had some very nice Dolce and Gabanna and Armani for Thor2 and then the Golden Globes. There is one interview I’ve read, Rush-era, where he’s surprisingly well-informed about fashion and confesses to bringing home some of the Gucci items that he liked from the set.

            • Kimmu

Did you not see the whole outfit? He was wearing horribly wrinkled pants that didn’t match, rolled up past his ankles with no socks. I just facepalmed and was like “Chris, Chris why?”

          • Kimmu

See, he doesn’t dress up but I think there actually is a bit of style to what he wears casually. He always looks put together and his clothes always fit well.

      • Ali2044

Before he made it big in the US he was sleeping on mates couches around the Eastern suburbs of Sydney and by all accounts is one of the most laid-back guys who really couldn’t care less about clothes. I think he has a stylist who knows what they’re doing and he just puts the clothes on and poledances away.

    • TM

Ugh, those shoulders. They look even more perfect when he’s wearing a vest.

If we’re being honest, Liam is def more my type. But like if he had Chris’ personality (or a personality.) Anyways, good job Mrs. Hemsworth.

    • thrillckr

The more I look at him, the more I’m convinced he would have made a great Christian Grey!

    • suzinrva

The hands – will someone tell these guys to find something else to do with them instead of jamming them in pockets! I would be happy to hold a couple if they need some inspiration.

    • Violentcello

Not my favorite of the Chrises, but still good.

    • Leslie Streeter

      That hair is dreamypants.

Said in my best Eartha Kitt:
      Purrrrrfect.

    • evave2

He looks great. I am SO GLAD he showed up for this premier. Hubba hubba.

    • Jacqueline Wessel

This is exactly what I was in the mood for. However did you know???

    • Eclectic Mayhem

      Lovely.

I has a sad, however, that he’ll clearly be wearing a wig for The Avengers: Age of Ultron as I think he gets more and more gorgeous as his hair gets longer. He fair took my breath away in Thor 2 and I could barely breathe as it was what with Messers Elba, Levi, Hiddleston and Evans smoking up the screen!

      • Kimmu

Every day is a day than I mourn the loss of his manbun. He’s always grogeous but you’re right, he somehow becomes more attractive the longer his hair gets.

    • saintebeuve

The “mercy” just about slayed me. I need to start saying that ASAP.

    • Yoshio

Easily wins the best dressed cast member (not a high bar I know) to grace the red carpet as the GOTG road show rolls along. Thank goodness for Australian men!

    • Angela Leigh

Whenever he wears something with buttons, I just want to undo them all one by one and push them over those shoulders. *fans self* Definitely one hot man. Lovin’ the hair, especially the bit falling in face. Love the scruff. And he looked *good* last night.

    • Deedles

Put your legs together, son… or are you not able to???

      • Kimmu

To quote James Hunt, “Big balls.”

        Sorry, I had to.

    • OffToSeeHim

      Love. Him.

God, I have got to stop objectifying these men – it’s not very progressive

    • Mr. J.

I just….I just…[sound of comatose body hitting floor]

    • e jerry powell

A little bit of pulling on the top button.

A LOT of pulling at the crotch.

I ain’t mad, even with the hands in the pockets.

    • Pterodactyl111

His hair looks awful … but I’ll forgive it for the sake of that vest. Mmmmm.

    • MilaXX

      works for me.

    • AnneElliot

      Oooh, he’s PRETTY. Those eyes!!

    • stubbornthoughts

      GAHHHHHHHH.

    • quiltrx

And, just like that, Chris ‘Naughty Banker’ Hemsworth has unseated the reigning Jason ‘Dirty Boy’ Momoa as my desktop wallpaper!

    • gefeylich

Huh. Mind you, I’ve never found him attractive at all, but this… I think it’s the combination of widow’s peak, white shirt and vest. It’s pretty lethal.

    • demidaemon

And a pair of pants! MMMM-HMMMM.

However, the beard feels neither here nor there.

    • FibonacciSequins

I’ll take one of him, please.
