Emily Blunt Style Double Shot

Posted on May 28, 2014

We feel like it’s been far too long since Miss Emily poledanced in front of us, wearing a succession of cute dresses. It’s time to come home, Emily.

You don’t have to bring Tom Cruise with you, though. Also, we’re a little concerned about your shoe situation and feel it’s time to have a talk.

Ridiculously crazy-cute. LOVE this dress on her. Push that thing off you, girl, and stand still so we can get a good look at you. We’re not supercrazy about the Michelle Obama-style super-matched shoes, but it’s a dress that calls out for cohesiveness in the styling. A pop of color shoe would’ve been very wrong.

Still, if one must match, then we wish she’d picked the yellow to match to. Also, suede seems a bit heavy for this look.

Again with the suede matchy shoes. These hurt our feelings. Matching to the PINK? Oh, no, no, no. This won’t do at all. That dress is KILLA and if you have to match, we suggest any other color BUT the pink. Red, blue or even white would’ve looked more sophisticated to us. And why suede with a strapless dress? It just looks … off.
