You either love it or you hate it, so let’s not fool around here. This is an immediate-impact kind of dress. No shades of gray. It’s all very binary.

Bitter Kittens make the call:

IN! Gorgeous! Stunning! Edgy! McQueen, bitches!

OUT! Depressed bird.

If nothing else, we appreciate that she keeps giving us clothes worth looking at and talking about during this poledance. Attagirl.

In other opinionated news, the Bitter Kittens had their say on Emma Stone’s crochet nightmare, voting it OUT.

    • Katie Wolf

LOVE! Beautiful dress; hair and makeup perfect for it. Win.

    • RussellH88

What is that plastic thing ’round your torso?

      • cap1764

        Around her neck???

      • suzq

The model is wearing a black neck piece that forms a “crown” around her neck. It’s a look. Jennifer’s version appears to have some clear mesh around the collar, perhaps to hold the neck piece that either didn’t fit or just seemed too overwhelming for her.

I have a long goose neck, so I could probably pull that off.

        • MissusBee

          Swan neck, honey. Swan neck.

    • Rachael G

She looks gorgeous, and the make-up seals it for me. It’s what Sarah would look like if she’s decided to say yes to the Goblin King in Labyrinth. Heck, they both have a thing for clothes with feathers!

      • Sarah

Hehee, that’s a good point. I still don’t like the dress, but put it up next to Bowie and it could work.

        • Rachael G

Yep, she needs to play an exotic queen in a fantasy flick – the dress would look magnificent in that context. I appreciate why some people are finding it a bit OTT for the red, uh blue carpet.

        • lunchcoma

David Bowie makes just about anything better!

      • Laura Renee

Yeah, it made me think of Labyrinth too. :) It might work for her (at least for a lot of us) for that reason.

      • Sylvia

This was my first thought too. I love the dress, and something about this look makes me think that the child of Sarah and Jareth would be Rooney Mara.

    • Samantha Klein

I feel pretty grey about it, actually, but she is still magnificent, so it’s an IN.

      • sojourneryouth

I feel the same way. Mostly, I feel that it’s too much dress–too many things happening all at once. I would like it better if the top had a simpler bottom and no flowers at the neck, jut a the bodice. I would like the bottom okay (except for the ruffles, which are just weird) with a simpler top. I like that it’s bold and different, but it’s a “meh” for me in its current form.

    • Cortney Dean

Total high-impact look and very non-bland, so I give it an in even just for effort.

    • IMNAngryLiberal

      IN, IN, IN.

    • mrsdalgliesh

I *can* come down “in between” opinions, because on the one hand, I think the dress is striking and beautiful — BUT I don’t think you can wear it well unless you stand with your shoulders back. Because Jennifer is standing without really flinging those shoulders back, she looks schlumpy.

      • editrixie

Yes, this, exactly. I love the dress, which surprises me a little, but the way she’s all caved in just turns it down so many notches.

    • elemspbee

In. Love. high immediate impact dress and she’s handling it.

    • Michael_Jones

I love this. IN. (You were right. It is an immediate impact thing, and I had a strong reaction only one way…)

    • Emily Smith

My immediate response was pretty and dramatic so in!

    • sienna elm

OUT! Hideous…and what the heck is that on her ear? It looks one fairy wing fell off…or maybe it’s a Borg antenna…

      • VicD

I rated this an IN, but went back to look at that single wing thing. You’re right. That’s weird. I thought it was an optical illusion formed by something behind her. Still an in, but now an “in*” with an asterisk next to it.

      • MilaXX

Probably an ear cuff. I bought one online and got the measurements wrong. While it’s very pretty, it’s a bit Star Trek-y and I can’t figure out a way to wear it and not look Star Trek-y.

    • Kate4queen

    • International Model

OUT. Moldy flowers found at the bottom of the trunk with a decomposing body.

      • sundaynightaddict

Agreed. OUT. But at least her head is 150% less terrifying than the runway model’s.

      • Kayceed

        Agreed! And Ick!!!

      • Evan

McQueen is supposed to be macabre though.

      • Rhonda Shore

OUT. Enough variations on Big Bird for one day!

    • Capt. Renault

Out. There’s no balance to it.

      • DTLAFamilies

Agree, the proportions are off. Plus the ruffle is just fug.

      • Crystal

        Agree. So very OUT.

    • Janet B

She looks gorgeous, she just needs to own it.

      • JulieTy

YES!! She needs to follow the sage advice of her Uncles: Chin up! Tits out!

    • misstressofsylar

My immediate response was “that face will always merit an IN”. I need her and the hubby to put in more RC appearances. They are so gorgeous together.

    • CommenterFormerlyKnownAsR

I wish the top part didn’t hang so oddly, but I can’t hate this delightful level of cray. IN.

    • CB

IN! The hair, makeup, and almost nonexistent accessories are perfect for this dress.

    • E2_Remote

On anyone else, I would say hell no, but something about her specific look and type of beauty make it work. IN!

    • crash1212

IN. For all the reasons stated. And, you’re right. It really was a visceral response from first look.

    • Jacqueline Wessel

      OUT. Depressed bird is dead.

      • Sarah

We lay bead encrusted flowers at depressed bird’s grave.

        • Kayceed

          It’s all a bit Victorian mourning….

          • formerlyAnon

Not at all a bad thing, on a gorgeous woman, IMO!

    • BlairBear

No this is like Georgina Chapman for Alexander McQueen.

      • YousmelllikeAnnaWintour

You mean, THE BEAUTIFUL Georgina Chapman.

        • BlairBear

Yes well we don’t talk about the Ugly Georgiana Chapman! Wait hold on a split personality would explain her design process.

        • KateShouldBeWorking

We can’t call her The Tastefully-Restrained Georgina Chapman.

          • BlairBear

Milano cookies could if it was in her contract.

    • Sarah

I formed one! NAY. Too much muchness.

    • Evan

Love it. I commend her for wearing difficult things. She may not always hit the mark, but I appreciate that she doesn’t play it safe.

    • Grumpy Girl

IN That is so cool. I want to be her in this dress.

    • In_Stitches

I love these almost sci-fi looks she’s been trotting out. This and the Givenche from a week or two ago seem very…80’s She-Ra and Friends. Definite IN.

    • StarburstLady

Don’t like! It’s heavy, fussy, and artsy-craftsy in a way that doesn’t add up to anything. OUT.

    • Courtenay P

IN. this is the type of clothing celebrities should be wearing, because they have access to it. no one needs to see another glorified prom dress. go girl.

      • alyce1213

Yes, I like the way you think.

    • lunchcoma

It looks like she was attacked by craft supplies. OUT!

    • LilyVanessi

One second was all it took to decide – OUT.

    • Jacob Bowen

      In. Took my breath away.

ETA: Only issue in my eyes is the layering on the bottom. Had it just continued on as usual it would’ve been even better.

    • Lani A. George

    • Anna Vasquez

      Major-Tom-level of OUT.

    • Catsss

OUT. First impression: I hate all of it. Second impression: The skirt is interesting but the top looks so heavy and her boobs very droopy. I also don’t like the way the top connects to the skirt. It just looks awkward.

      • MarieLD

Out for all the reasons Catsss said.

    • Danielle

It’s like she got together with Emma and made a pact to wear something totally opposite. OUT.

    • KingCrazy

      Oh, definitely an IN.

      Beautiful, high-impact, and different. Gorgeous.

    • empath

Out. Overwhelming feeling of claustrophobia, like a turkey with a beaded clamp around its neck on the way to the slaughterhouse.
Jennifer’s countenance seems to support this.

    • Christine Hart

Is it odd that I think this is kinda boring on her?

    • BayTampaBay

I like the dress but I do not think the fit is very good. The waist is too high and the bodice is too tight and looks like it is cutting her underarms.

    • ScarlettHarlot

Out. She doesn’t seem to care for it much, either.

    • Jen

      I love it!

    • Sherry N. Sutton

    • MW

She’s bringing the drama, it’s an IN from me.

    • NMMagpie

All I could think of was “Little Shop of Horrors.”

      • YousmelllikeAnnaWintour

        “Feed me”.

    • rissa42210

      IN – first reaction: positive.

    • Bozhi

IN – While I would not call this beautiful, it is high impact and this is a “show business” venue, so the garment is doing its job.

    • Anna

Out. Take away the bedazzled barnacles and this is basically a redux of Gwyneth’s 2002 Oscars dress.

    • Kbear

OUT. The parts are fine, but it is too busy. It needed a sleek or solid inset to offset all the texture. It looks like a rooster.

    • carnush

It pains me but I’m going with OUT. It’s just not ‘aesthetically pleasing’ to my eye.

    • cmb123

More of a GTINYD – the dress is gorgeous, but her pose is ruining it for me. Maybe it’s more Girl – Straighten Up those Shoulders (GSUTS?)

    • Lilah

See, your outs are always more funny so I want to go with that, but really I like it and it’s an IN.

    • AlexisPayne

      Love it, IN

    • Nancer

I think I’ll go with OUT, though this call could have gone either way. If anyone can pull this off in the real world, it’s Jennifer, but something about it just screams depressed fowl.

    • MinAgain

      (a) Jennifer is becoming more beautiful with age.
      (b) That’s a very striking dress.
      (c) She was wise to keep her styling simple. IN.

    • Louise Bryan

      Depressed bird, fer shur!

    • YousmelllikeAnnaWintour

      Is today Chicken Lady Day?

    • Kristina Sadowski

    • amanda d

IN except for the ear thing. What’s up with that?

    • Agador Spartacus

Nope. Out. That’s too much dress for her. Ship it off to Cate Blanchett.

    • Doreen Ingato Inguaggiato Bier

That’s a lot of look. At least wear the dress. The dress is wearing her.

    • J.W.

      In…but stand up straight.

    • prisma

      IN. Beautiful and striking.

    • Tanya Wade

      OUT! Maleficent’s flower garden!

    • Jade Lewis

      IN! Beauteous elf queen.

    • WittyCism

She’s wonderful and the dress may not be that bad, but together… nope.

    • Belvane

Love it. Reminds me of Frida Kahlo.

    • Sara Hottman

      Love! In!

    • Eloise

I was in full support until I got to the dust ruffle. Still, IN.

    • Monabel

      IN! Rich and poetic.

    • camillegal

      love the dress…hate the posture.

    • Victor Beiramar Diniz

      GTNYD out!

    • jw_ny

IN…for the initial impact, textures and drama, but that neckline is awkward, and that ruffled hemline is ugly.

    • Richard Banger

Love it! Especially for setting, with the big rock and the unusual floor. IN!

    • random_poster

IN. It’s an impact dress worn for the right occasion. She is barnacles and starfish on top of a rock protruding from the ocean. (Typing that makes me think, “really? you can say that and still think you like this?”, to which I respond, yes. It’s sometimes good to have conversations in your head this way.)

    • Jessica

Out. This is a runway-only dress for me. The poor woman can’t even put her arms down! You know she’s going to be scratched to hell from that top. And it kind of looks like there’s a neck brace hiding under all that embellishment. All that said, she would be stunning wearing a paper bag.

    • seventeenwest

Maybe in with weirder/more dramatic hair? Her head looks like it’s poking out of a wicked garden.

    • Miss wks

      I miss Alexander McQueen…

    • FrigidDiva

OUT. It looks schlumpy and heavy, which should not be on the top of my list when describing an A-list celeb on the red carpet.

    • Alyssa_T_Robot

in! i don’t think this is the absolutely most flattering but she’s making it werq.

    • housefulofboys

In! I would like the dress better if it didn’t have that heavy flounce around the bottom, but she looks fabulous!

    • Catherine

IN. LOVE it. She is probably one of two people who can rock this dress.

    • uprightcitizen

Kind of like it. Pretty and ethereal, and the hair and makeup keep it from looking pageanty. But I can’t help but think that Blanchett would have made this look crazy cool.

    • Maine1ac

I don’t like it, but I don’t hate it. Looks a little like a feather duster come to life.

    • AmyO

Out. It looks like she’s molting.

    • RedRaven617

    • Liz

It’s an odd dress, but she looks great. In.

    • LeelaST

      IN! Gorgeous dress. Gorgeous.

    • kcnitch

In! Love the dress, and as usual her face is stunning.

    • Beardslee

“Depressed bird” – you are hilarious, you two. OUT OUT OUT

    • Mary Elizabeth Poytinger Baume

    • nycfan

I think I would have loved it without the five pink flower/neck flourish bit … basically if the green just tapered up without the rest …

    • nycfan

Also, on the relative close-up of her face, is that an ace bandage between the dress of the collar and her skin?

    • eringorock

      beyond love- in!!!!!!

    • TinaBelchersawkwardmoan

Out, sorry. Looks like it was made from feathers left after the birds departed.

    • CLoverleaf

      In! Space fantasy beauty!

    • Shawn EH

      Out. Farscape costume.

    • lamamu

Love. The woman proves time and again that she can wear anything. It’s her superpower.

    • TrishR

I honestly started feeling like I couldn’t breathe, just an automatic reaction to that neckline looking like it’s choking her. “Took my breathe away,” though totally not in a good way!

    • Stefanie Argudo Mackenzie

Love it! And I don’t care who is wearing it, this is a dress that wears you…not the other way around.

    • jilly_d

Ethereal’s evil twin. I like it and it plays well with her coloring. IN.

    • kt

In forever to the alien queen

    • melanie0866

      Top: IN!
      Bottom: OUT!

    • msdamselfly

Out Her makeup is lovely though

    • JauntyJohn

    • Tracey Magyar

      Depressed Elf.

    • Crucifictorious

      In for sure

    • decormaven

Out- the heaviness of the skirt isn’t balanced with the bodice, even though it’s ornamented with the beadwork. Wish she had worn a wristlet or some piece of jewelry to pick up the plum tone in the flower ornamentation.

    • BobStPaul

      Absolutely in.

    • Lizzyisi

    • majorbedhead

Seaweed. Depressed seaweed. So that would be an OUT from me.

    • Laura Renee

IN! This one isn’t even as debatable for me as lot of in-or-outs.

    • BeeBeauNYC

Love it, but I hate the rock behind her!

    • Sharon

Why did they add the flower to the middle? Looked better on the runway with four rather than five. Five becomes a garden party.

    • lundibleu

IN. Love it and she looks way better than the model.

    • Judy_S

IN. Weird dress, beautiful woman looking gorgeous so maybe after all it’s not that weird? Bodice by Chihuly?

    • amanda lynn

      In. well done.

    • willworktomorrow

IN, despite the ugly ruffle on the bottom.

    • VicD

In. Love it. The paired down hair, understated jewelry, etc. are perfect for a dress that has so much going on.

    • B_C_J

OUT! There is way too much going on. The fit at the waist is non-existent. The skirt looks heavy & she is being swallowed by it all. However, her face is truly beautiful.

    • Ashleigh

      LOVE IT

    • Ashleigh

      Much better than zombie model!!

    • anyalama

      IN. Very striking.

    • Alexis Peñafuerte Wenceslao

      IN, oh so IN.

    • Jecca2244

      love love love it.

    • Gatto Nero

IN. The dress is a little overwrought, but all the elements click. And the pared down hair and makeup set it off well.

    • Trickytrisha

IN, if only for the oddity factor.

    • E. D.

IN. She’s wearing that dress and with most others, the dress would be doing the wearing.

    • teensmom99

IN. More fashiony than usual for this beautiful woman who often misses.

    • rumcg66

IN! The impact was completely positive for me. Spectacular.

    • Vegas Girl

Out. But this movie has the coolest red carpet I think I’ve ever seen!

    • dash1211

In. A knockout of a dress for a premiere.

    • Steve Ek

In. Wow factor gown that she and her stylists knew to leave to speak for itself. I will say, a little odd for the premiere of a Biblical epic. One would expect something more along Emma Watson’s efort for this event. Sleek and low key.

    • trisker

IN. I always love McQueen, and Connelly is tall enough and has such a great FACE.

    • formerlyAnon

If they served her wine in an elaborately worked metal goblet once she was off the watery carpet, IN.

And I choose to envision that as fact, so IN it is.

I remember making flowers like that by stringing teeny tiny beads on teeny wires as a kid. I liked doing it, oddly, as I’m not all that patient and one flower took days of t.v. time to finish.

    • barbarienne

OUT. I’m not feeling the hair and makeup, and the dress is ridic. If she were standing taller and prouder and with more authority, maybe it could work, but she’s doing a bit of slump-shoulder and it’s just not selling it. If there are other pics from a different moment when she’s in a better posture, I might think differently.

    • Baghag

It sort of reminds me of what David Bowie wore in Labyrinth…..

      • Anplica Fiore

just another reason why it’s IN for me! :)

    • Kitten Mittons

      Out. Don’t care for it.

    • Joyce VG

      IN! Gorgeous (to me.)

    • Cate

In. It looks like she’s playing a pixie queen in a play or something, but it’s that time of early spring when anything whimsical and colorful is SO welcome.

    • Qitkat

I felted a scarf similar to that top. It’s a look usually best kept in small doses.
I’m a bit on the fence not because of the dress, but because she isn’t really owning the look in these pictures.
And POSTURE, darling! Especially called for in such a dramatic look.
Dress is In; Miss Connelly is Out in a fabulous dress.

    • somebody blonde

In, but just barely. Something about the shape of the bodice is weird, but not weird enough for it to be out.

    • lobsterlen

    • boweryboy

OUT. Change the neckline and it could be an in. As it is, it’s too heavy and it looks like she can’t breathe. I also noticed she added a fifth flower to the bodice. Maybe that’s why it seems so off to me.

    • Sophie

Where is her neck? Out. I’d like it a bit better if she didn’t slouch, but the dress is swallowing her.

    • Daisy Walker

I wanted to like it, but OUT. She’s got portobello mushrooms growing her neck and chest.

    • ChelseaNH

Too much dress for me, plus she looks kind of orange.

    • SophieCollier

I’ve never seen a feathered prairie skirt. So there’s that. Um, gonna have to say OUT. It’s not working here, kid. Neither is that bronzer. Or is the lighting just really weird?

    • ShaoLinKitten

      OUT, ’cause it’s scaring me.

    • Jessie Melcher Brown

The waist is too high throwing off her proportions. And posing in front of the rocks just makes me think of wilted seaweed when it turns black after being out of the water too long. OUT

    • Ashleigh Taylor Davis

A woman wearing only 1 wearing makes me a little confused.

    • israel8491

Out. Now go send that dress to Lupita, who is possibly the only human being alive who can make it work.

    • murt

IN – don’t like the dress but she looks beautiful wearing it.

    • MilaXX

Small IN . I like the dress and I like the hair with it. She loses points because her foundation looks a little yellow and her lip could be just a tiny bit pinker.

    • AllForUSophia

    • NBG

      Goth Big Bird. OUT.

    • Lori

Out. The top looks dead and like it will stab her if she tries to look down and the bottom looks like it’s about to start molting. There’s a picture floating around of this event where she’s standing next to the rock and all you can see next to her is NO. That about covers it.

    • suzq

Love it. The workmanship on the top is stunning. You need something strong on the bottom for balance. Lovely.

    • sarah

    • lalahartma

    • Imasewsure

GTNYD entry but the dress itself is still IN. She just doesn’t have that aura to pull off the PhD wear – somehow I’d like to see this on Emma Stone… might raise her to a PhD

    • Paula Pertile

      Top: IN
      Bottom: OUT
(OK, I cheated.) But really – don’t you think the top with a different bottom would be stunning?

    • Scot Meacham Wood

      LOVE. Unabashedly.

    • PaolaT

IN if she had better posture. It’s a ‘shoulders back, tits out’ kinda dress.

    • KinoEye

Heaven help me, IN. Though I will say this dress could be improved vastly by going a different route with the bottom of the skirt. Once again, it’s hard to tell with the differences in lighting, but the bottom of the skirt falls much more nicely on the model. On Jen, it kind of hangs there and looks like a dust ruffle. The bodice is amazing.

I don’t think we’ll find anyone who would disagree that the face is gorgeous. The hair is a bit severe, but since the dress is so complicated, it was probably best to keep it out of the way.

    • MzzPants

In, even though she looks pissed off in that first shot.

    • anneland

There is just way too much things sticking out of this dress. OUT.

    • Stacey Summerville

      LURVE! IN!

    • alyce1213

IN. I want to see it it person. Gorgeous.

    • marlie

NO. This dress isn’t doing it for me.

    • foodluver88

IN. It may be irrational, but I love Jennifer Connelly and she can do no wrong. If anything, that face saves the look.

    • Betsy

    • Henry Maler

      Immediate response: LOVE. IN.

    • conniemd

IN. I hate feathers, too, but that is one awesome bodice on that dress and it really pairs well with the feathered bottom. Dramatic & eye catching.

    • alliekat9090

      Heaven. In.

    • NurseEllen

I give her an IN, although I’m not a fan of the hair, and I think wearing one oversized earring is just plain weird. But it’s definitely a celebrity major movie premiere dress…..who else could get away with this?

Also, I think if this had been around when Natalie Portman was doing the “Black Swan” tour it would have been PERFECT.

    • bitchybitchybitchy

I….don’t know. I know it’s McQueen and all that connotes, but I’m not finding the combination of that jeweled, sequin top with the feather bedecked skirt to be working. The skirt looks heavy,as does the top. OK-out.

    • Sarah

OUT. Way too much texture. And that top is just wack.

    • jtabz

It looks uncomfortable as hell, but there’s no denying she looks gorgeous in it. IN.

    • KendraMR

OUT. The bottom looks like someone skinned a fuckton of black crows and made a skirt out of them.

    • Sarah Jane

I like the dress on Jennifer. But the runway model is going to give me nightmares tonight.

    • Megan Kennedy

IN, /because/ I would hate it on anyone else. Girl is working. She looks stunning.

    • joything

Is it possible for a face on the RC to look Photoshopped onto a body wearing a dress? Or is it just cuz I love huh face so much more than the dress? Huh face draws me to strange and beautiful lands. The dress makes me run away.

    • loulabelle34

This dress reminds me of a nightmare I once had in which seashells started growing out of my chest, so OUT.

    • butterflysunita

IN. Very striking. Though I think Emma’s simple white dress worked better with the water red carpet.

    • Reneesance

The dress is wearing her, sadly I have to vote her out.

    • vahtel

    • little britches

Gorgeous lady, gorgeous dress. But they don’t blend. I’d send it to Sarah Brightman or Florence Welch; I think those ladies might better express the camp / dramatic elements here. A grudging in, since JC looks good – but the dress is wearing her, I think.

    • elzatelzabelz

OUT-Fug. Hair and make-up are pretty, but there ain’t enough pretty in the world to save that dress.

    • wisdomy

This is a For Models and Cate Blanchett dress. I admire the attempt, and will give her a lowercase “in.”

    • LaSylphide

Out. Just too much of a muchness (as my mother used to say about some of my attempts at being fashionable). I like the top, and I like the skirt, but holy cow, not together. My eyes don’t know where to look.

    • Jangle57

She looks better in it than the model. Can’t say I love it – that top with that bottom is just too much for me but I’ll give her an IN just because she is looking better than the model

    • saintebeuve

In! Makes me think of anemones, coral, Ursula, and seaweed too. Nine out of ten times, not the best associations. For Noah? Winky!

    • bailey

      IN. she is impossibly stunning

    • kimmeister

    • livesarah

Colouring is a good match for her. She could probably get away with the tricky top if the skirt wasn’t so hiddy. Out.

    • Slanted & Enchanted

IN! The dress is gorgeous on her! I love how the colors of the top accentuate her eyes.

    • dalgirl

If we’re grading on a curve, this is one big IN after that unfortunate Vuitton last week.

    • Dan_In_NYC

A chorus of a thousand NOs… plus one. No.

    • sagecreek

So OUT I thought it was Marchesa.

      • formerlyAnon

This should be generally adopted as an insulting dismissal!

    • lesmaha

    • altalinda

Out. Any dress that makes the wearer hold her arms in that awkward position is wrong.

    • Dagney

      hmm…weird dress. IN.

    • Renaissance_Man_ATL

    • Cynica

First word that popped into my head: Fungus. I’d say that’s an OUT.

    • sleah_in_norcal

out. her body looks a lot like the rock she’s standing next to.

    • ankali

IN, SO VERY IN! God, that’s stunning.

    • ‘Becca’lise Deveaux

      She looks…ill?

    • Erica

    • BrianaJC

      hate. moldy tapestry.

    • Maya

OUT! My first thought was “yikes! floral fungus!”

    • Comfy

I think it works cuz she’s so very tiny. This look would make anyone normal look bulky.

    • Garcia Loca

      IN. Because Jennifer.

    • quiltrx

IN, because reasons…namely Connelly and McQueen. I do wish the neckline were not so high and severe.

    • jif

Would have been an IN if it didn’t make her look neckless. Oh, and if it had stronger colours. As it is, OUT.

    • Synnamin

This feels more like a GTNYD to me. I could see Nicole Kidman wearing this. OUT

    • torajima

      It’s hideous!

    • GeoDiva

She probably one of few except Miss Cate to pull this one off. Its IN for me.

    • deech_sea

      I love it. IN

    • mrspotts66

    • judybrowni

OUT. There’s a fungus among us.

    • mmebam

    • demidaemon

NOPE. Hate the bodice and the Big Bird skirt. OUT.

    • a_liking

      out, out, out.

    • Clash D

    • LambeeBaby

    • FridaStaire

      Shit! Muppet graves!

    • TerryMH

I sometimes feel like a depressed bird so this would be the perfect gown for those moods- IN!

    • Tuneful54

Funeral-home wreath a couple of days after the send-off.

    • Terri Terri

Looks like she’s being attacked by her dress bodice.

    • Bernadette

In, it has impact and drama and that’s always a good thing at a premiere.

    • Alicia

OUT but I wish she’d styled it like the runway.

    • Alyssa

Out. This dress takes away her neck.

    • velomango

      Love love, def. in!

    • PeggyOC

Out. She should never cover her neck, which is one of her best features.

    • Badriya Al-Badi’a

The dress itself is an in, but the way she’s wearing it kind of passively is an out.

    • MartyBellerMask

IN!! I love this so much better than the last one. Jennifer Connelly always wears something interesting, gotta give her that.

    • yllas

The dress is a work of art. I am privileged to gaze upon it, no matter who is wearing it. Jennifer Connelly herself: as I’ve said before, there’s something so sad about her. All I can think is, “poor thing.”

    • rebeemoon

IN. Love. Though I prefer the high neck-collar thingie on the model.

    • Kathy

      Out; it’s screwy, not edgy

    • ThaliaMenninger

Sweetheart, I hate to break it to you, but your dress has a disease. A moulting, diseased bird of unusual size is not my idea of red carpet glam. OUT.

    • Ashley Ellen Wilson

      OUT. UGH.

    • lizajane1776

Out. Heavy and makes her look like a no-neck.

    • sleepycat

      LOVE this! IN!

    • Cathy S

I hate it. The bodice is awful. Are those fake flowers? The skirt is pretty cool though. OUT.

    • Shug

      Scrumtrillescent. IN.

    • Sam Erin

      LOVE IT!! IN IN IN.

    • venusvelvet

Love the top; bottom looks like a mountain of dead crows to me.

    • Deb Oswald

    • tereliz

Her face says she wishes the Goblin King really would come and take her away…

    • CatherineRhodes

I’m surprising myself by voting IN

    • Kelly Maloney

      Love. First thought.

    • icm

love the top hate the bottom!

    • LJCdoc

      Love it, in.

    • MarissaLG

IN. I think she looks lovely.

    • JaCory Deon

It’s an “IN” for me: she looks pretty unclockable here.

    • Julie Parr

    • Jessi03

      No, little bird. So busy.

    • kfizz

      Nope. It’s wearing her.

    • Deborah Lipp

    • elirt

    • Emmyllou

    • The Dose of Reality

LOVE IT!! Ethereal beauty and poise. IN!

    • PeaceBang

      Wow. So pretty.

    • BLauD

Her boobs just look so sad in that dress. I want to love it more than I do. The fit just looks awkward.
I suppose IN, but it is less than perfect.

    • Caroline Palmer

Absolutely gorgeous, like she stepped out of a painting.

    • Columbinia

And the model looks as if she’s costumed up for a production of “The Rite of Spring.”

    • jesuiskate

      OUT! Too much.

    • Kelly

Out. She looks like she’s in costume for her turn in “It Came From 1000 Fathoms Under.”

    • Ann VerWiebe

I thought the headline said “Nosh” – like a play set in a Jewish deli.

    • DeidreRobbers

      Love… In

      I dig. IN

    • Heather

IN. Very, very in. I love it.

    • Kristen Lewis

I vote out. I would change my mind if the skirt ended at the knee, though.

    • RuthGo

      Horrible, OUT.

    • DebbieLovesShoes

      Hate it.

    • Mousentrude

Out. Great dress, but she doesn’t have the charisma for it.Give it to Cate.

    • dancinfool

      IN! Totally IN!

    • Denise Rambo

It looks like it’s strangling her. And something is off about the color of her skin – but that could just be the lighting.
