Mindy Kaling was all business as she stopped by The View to chat up her new series as executive producer, Not Suitable For Work. Is this theme-dressing or is she just working a high-powered TV producer sort of style?

Maybe a little bit of both. It’s exceedingly business-like, but it’s also head-to-toe Schiaparelli, which makes it fairly unsuitable for your average office job. Personally, we think stylists tend to default to the all-one-label approach too often with Schiaparelli. Yes, it’s a very distinctive aesthetic, but that’s part of the reason why you shouldn’t overwhelm the average wearer with too many noses or keyholes in one outfit. Everything here looks great, but we’d have told her to ditch the bag. It’s clearly not needed and it’s so gimmicky that it distracts from the rest of the look.
