Maybe you’re reading this in the middle of the night or next week or even six months from now, but right now, it’s Monday morning and we feel like we’d be doing the Bitter Kittens a service if we brightened it up with a serving of Colman Domingo — or rather, Colman Domingo, serving.
That is some Homotastic Black Excellence and no one, but no one, is doing it like him on the red carpet. Personally, we might have suggested less conventional footwear than that, but he does a very good job of balancing exuberant expression with restrained elegance. He knows what he’s doing. We don’t think anyone else could pull off a sheer blouse cape, so at the very least, he should be applauded for stepping up and making it clear that he’s the man to do it. The jewelry is stunning.
