Title aside, you might be forgiven for assuming that How To Make a Killing stars Glen Powell and Margaret Qualley were hitting the red carpet in pure rom-com style.

The premiere was on Valentine’s Day weekend, he has preternatural chemistry with all of his co-stars, and they came to the red carpet dressed like that. Everything about it says romance, but as you’ll see by the trailer below, that’s not what the film’s about at all.
Glen Powell

It’s okay. We hate the lack of contrast and we feel like he’s been toning down his red carpet style more and more. He came out of the gate strong in his career, but the results have been rocky and it feels like he’s changing course a little and not going for high-fashion polish as much. That’s just us trying to read the tea leaves, though. Like we said, this is okay. We’ve seen a lot better from him.
Margaret Qualley in Chanel

This, on the other hand, might just be an all-time personal best for her. She had a tendency to go for twee-awkward looks for a long time, so it’s nice to see her figuring out that slinky, uncomplicated glamour and bold colors are where it’s at for her. She looks beautiful. Love the ombre effect.
