PinApsara Cruise Restaurant – Bangkok, Thailand

HUZZAH, darlings! It’s WEDNESDAY and we should celebrate that fact. Let’s take a virtual cruise in Thailand today. We’ll save you a seat.

Celluloid Hero! From After to Young Sherlock, Hero Fiennes Tiffin has followed in his family’s footsteps to the pinnacle of Hollywood success
A young Voldemort, a Harry Styles-inspired heartthrob, and a leading man for Guy Ritchie: is there anything cover star Hero Fiennes Tiffin can’t do?

‘I never wanted to be famous… but if that does happen, then so be it,’ Hero Fiennes Tiffin tells Isolde Walters in the March issue of Tatler. ‘I’ve played Sherlock Holmes for Guy Ritchie. It was worth it.’ Indeed, the Hollywood scion’s latest role in Young Sherlock is the sign that his star has ascended, but, aged just 28, Hero has the sort of CV that many actors can only dream about.
Then again, he’s been gracing the silver screen for almost two decades, ever since he played a young Voldemort in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (the Dark Lord himself was Hero’s uncle, Ralph Fiennes). His big break, however, came when he landed the lead role in the After franchise, a series of movies based on the best-selling young adult romance books by Anna Todd. The part – a character based on Harry Styles in his One Direction days – may not have received plaudits from the critics, but they introduced Fiennes Tiffin to a feverishly engaged fanbase – and six million Instagram followers.

Peter Farrelly’s ‘I Play Rocky’ Lands Coveted Thanksgiving 2026 Release in Theaters
Anthony Ippolito plays Sylvester Stallone in Amazon MGM’s feature about the making of the classic boxing film, which is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year.

Amazon MGM Studios‘ I Play Rocky will enter the ring just in time for the 50th Anniversary of Sylvester Stallone‘s iconic boxing film.
Directed by Peter Farrelly, the high-profile movie about the making of Rocky will open nationwide in theaters Nov. 20 following a limited release on Nov. 13. The original Rocky was released Nov. 21, 1976.
Anthony Ippolito stars as a young Sylvester Stallone in the drama, which tells the true Hollywood story about an unknown actor with an unshakable belief that he wasn’t just meant to write Rocky — he was meant to be Rocky Balboa. Told “no” at every turn, Stallone bets everything on himself, holding the line on playing the lead against seemingly impossible odds. The result is the ultimate underdog story behind the ultimate underdog movie.

The ‘99ers: What We Know About the US Women’s Soccer Team Movie
Is The ’99ers the next A League of Their Own? It’s been a minute since we’ve gotten a truly great movie about women’s sports. Most tend to focus on individuals, like King Richard, about Venus and Serena Williams’ father, or the Harding biopic I, Tonya. Team sport movies are few and far between, but Netflix’s next adaptation of a true story all millennials will remember is getting us excited.
Based on The Girls of Summer: The US Women’s Soccer Team and How It Changed the World by New York Times journalist Jeré Longman’s book, The ‘99ers follows the iconic 1999 USWNT team that defied the odds for a World Cup win that spawned a thousand bedroom posters. It’s set to be directed by Nicole Kassell from a script written by Katie Lovejoy, Dana Stevens, and Peter Hedges.

Big Skirt Energy: Why Statement Skirts Will Be The Defining Fashion Item of 2026
If you only invest in one piece of clothing this year, make it this

Even as a seasoned editor, pulling out a single standout trend from all the hundreds of Fashion Week shows that take place each season can be a tricky task. Not so in the case of Spring/Summer 2026, however—for both on the runways themselves and the streets outside, there was one item that unequivocally reigned supreme: the statement skirt.
I first noticed inklings of the trend all the way back in September when a fresh new round of shows had just kicked off in New York. Ever ahead of the curve, the city’s industry insiders seemed to anticipate that the statement skirt was due a revival, stepping out in all manner of styles ranging from the fringed, feathered and sculptural, to the brightly coloured and boldly patterned.
As the season continued, so too did the skirt-centric street style sightings, whether worn in ‘high-low’ style contrasted with a simple t-shirt or knit, or as part of a bold look head-to-toe. And, importantly, the shows followed suit.

Why Birds Were the Focus of Matthieu Blazy’s First Chanel Haute Couture Collection
Full focus may have been on the models (and the clothes), but is there a deeper meaning?

The very essence of Haute Couture is, traditionally, to focus wholly on the clothes. It’s the moment when ultra-luxury fashion houses get to showcase their design prowess, atelier expertise and boundless imagination—crafting exquisitely exclusive pieces destined for private clients and celebrity red carpets alike. And yet, for Matthieu Blazy’s first Chanel haute couture show, it wasn’t solely about the garments themselves, but the women who wear them, fuelling both the inspiration and the execution of the collection.

FYI, This Simple Nervous System Regulation Hack Could Boost Metabolism, Mood and Focus – Your Guide
One for those who have been feeling a little…off key.

Do you feel constantly on edge, even in spaces that are meant to help you relax?
Is your mind racing while your body feels utterly exhausted?
Do you struggle to properly switch off, no matter how much rest you get?
If that sounds familiar, you’re not broken, and you’re certainly not alone. But you may be living with a dysregulated nervous system.
It’s becoming increasingly common. We’ve never had more convenience, connection or information at our fingertips, yet many of us are living under near-constant pressure. Pressure to optimise our health, productivity and relationships. Pressure to perform online, stay visible, stay relevant, stay ahead. Add in financial stress, poor sleep, endless notifications and very little genuine downtime, and the nervous system rarely gets the message that it’s safe to stand down. Instead, it remains stuck in high alert, even when there’s no immediate threat.

Is a Suede Trench Coat the Chicest Solution to Cold-Weather Dressing? The Fashion Set Thinks So
It may be time to pack the wool coats away

We’ve all heard the term sweater weather, but a cooler, more fashion-forward frontrunner is swiftly taking its place: the suede trench coat. And the chicest women are in agreement—it’s shaping up to be a truly elevated outfit essential.
The classic trench, of course, needs little introduction. If you’re anything like me, you likely have more than one hanging in your wardrobe already, pairing it with everything from straight-leg jeans and winter boots to mini dresses and ballet flats. The suede iteration does all of that, too—but with an added layer of interest. After all, texture remains one of the easiest ways to breathe life into a look.

“I Regret…Him” — 7 Brides Share Their Wedding Day Regrets
What brides wish they knew before their big day — and want you to know before yours.

Growing up in the 90s and early noughties, the pinnacle of adulthood looked like a frothy white wedding dress and a ‘happily ever after’. Weddings were the climax of so many of my favourite films and TV shows. Gossip Girl—which enraptured me so much that I took to calling my friends by their last initial only—literally ends with (spoiler alert) Dan and Serena’s long-awaited nuptials when they were, oh, I don’t know, 23.
The fact that weddings were so often the closing act for my favourite stars got me wondering what happened to these women after they were married. If this, as I was led to believe, was the happiest day of their lives, did everything go downhill after? That seemed like a grim fate to befall my favourite heroines, even if they were fictional.

How Stylist James Yardley Fashioned Heated Rivalry’s Connor Storrie Into a Next Generation Leading Man
Connor Storrie found overnight fame with Heated Rivalry. His stylist James Yardley tells Vanity Fair about dressing the actor for superstardom.

This evening in Paris, Connor Storrie arrived at the latest Saint Laurent fashion show wearing a look straight off last season’s men’s runway—a sharp-shouldered suit with his tie tucked into the packet of his shirt. Fandom of Heated Rivalry, the breakout show adapted from Rachel Reid’s Game Changers novels, has been ramping up for weeks about whether Storrie would join his co-star Hudson Williams in appearing on or off the runway. Today, their wish finally came true.
Storrie first wore Saint Laurent to the 2026 Golden Globes, where his stylist James Yardley paired a fantastic black tuxedo with a Tiffany & Co. diamond brooch. Storrie is a shoe-in for the high octane, über slick universe that designer Anthony Vaccarello has built at Saint Laurent. (He’s signed an exclusive deal to only attend that show this season, according to industry sources.)

Radical Chic: Inside Jonathan Anderson’s Modern Vision for Dior
Anderson’s first women’s show for Dior, held in the Tuileries, was for months the most anticipated in Paris. During the hour before it began, a throng spilled out from the park into the Place de la Concorde. Some bystanders wore costumes. Others lifted signs and screamed for every celebrity—Jennifer Lawrence, Sabrina Carpenter, Anya Taylor-Joy, Jisoo, Jimin, Robert Pattinson, Johnny Depp, and many others—who passed along a route marked by security guards through a parting in the crowd.
Within a huge, tan-colored structure built over the Tuileries’s octagonal fountain, the filmmaker Luca Guadagnino and his production designer Stefano Baisi had created a low-ceilinged gallery. The walls, mottled gray, were trimmed with layered Italian modernist moldings; boxy wooden stools were arranged as seating. “We wanted to create a space almost like a museum,” says Guadagnino, who met Anderson a decade and a half ago and collaborated with him on costuming for three of his recent movies.

I’m an Unapologetic Maximalist—Here Are the Statement Bags I’m Loudly Loving in 2026
Because no one ever stops you on the street to ask about your plain black tote.

I used to treat handbags as a responsible adult would: black or brown, minimal hardware, and sensible shapes—safe choices that I could justify with “cost-per-wear” math. Yet, every time I shopped, I’d drift toward the unhinged option first: any bag with beading, texture, animal print, or fringe. But then I’d talk myself out of it. How many outfits could I possibly wear this with? Isn’t the black leather option the smarter purchase?
Here’s what I’ve since learned: the “smart” bag is often the one I’d forget I owned. The funky bag is the one I reach for on autopilot—because it does something. It gives your outfit a point of view. It turns your plain look into a look, even if the rest of it is a white tee, worn-in jeans, and a claw clip working overtime.

How to Style a Snood, Winter’s Unexpected ‘It Girl’ Accessory
Your nana called, she wants her style back.

Someone wise once said, “There’s no such thing as bad weather, only unsuitable clothing.” And the snood is the season’s chic answer to dressing suitably for all of the yuckiest weather that winter has to offer.
The snood (or even a balaclava or a hood) is the unexpected style star of the season. On one hand, this knit head covering is practical, covering your painstakingly styled hair and protecting it from the elements. (We all remember that scene in Bridget Jones when her headscarf flies away during a drive in a convertible, leaving her looking as if she’d walked through a hedge backwards.) On the other hand, it also looks surprisingly chic. Throw on a knit snood, and all of a sudden, you’re channeling a mysterious heroine in a Russian novel. Impeccable winter vibes, if you ask me.

Want Better French Press Coffee? Start With These Essential Steps
A World Barista Champion shares a step-by-step guide to produce the best-tasting French press coffee.

The French press, also known as a coffee press, press pot, cafetiere, and caffettiera a stantuffo, is a manual coffee brewer that has a plunger with a mesh filter that presses the grounds after steeping. This popular coffee brewing method is also one of the most affordable, as the price of a classic Bodum Chambord starts at about $25.
Its origin dates to the 1850s, when a Frenchman from Provence stopped along his daily walk to make a pot of coffee over an open fire. He mistakenly boiled the water before he added the beans and found sediment at the top of the pot. A passing Italian merchant sold him a mesh screen that he used to press down the floating coffee grounds. Later, in 1928, Attilio Calimani and Giulio Moneta in Italy applied for the first patent that resembles the modern French press.

Lady Gaga Covers Mr. Rogers’ ‘Won’t You Be My Neighbor?’… and Kills It
Lady Gaga has recorded her version of the theme song from the classic children’s show “Mr. Rogers‘ Neighborhood” for a Super Bowl commercial. If that sounds at all campy, you probably don’t know Gaga: she gives “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” her tender, balladic all in the minute-long rendition, making it feel more like an undervalued entry from the Great American Songbook than a kids’ song.
The question is: In 2026, does “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?” count as a protest song?

Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, More Celebrities Speak Out Against ICE Violence in Minneapolis
A growing list of stars have condemned ICE’s deadly operation in Minnesota

As ICE’s aggressive operation in Minneapolis has turned deadly with the murders of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, public outcry against the agency’s use of force and violence has grown louder. Earlier this month, new polling from the Economist and YouPoll confirmed support for ICE is rapidly eroding, with 46 percent of U.S. citizens supporting the abolishing of ICE.
Now, celebrities are using their platforms to speak up and condemn the organization’s deadly tactics in Minnesota and across the U.S. Celebrities like Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Pedro Pascal, and more have all shared passionate speeches on red carpets, posted emotional videos on Instagram, and urged people to keep using their voices. Here’s who has spoken out so far.

Ryan Reynolds’ rep stands up for actor in fiery statement after his texts about Justin Baldoni are exposed
“Yes, Ryan got involved — what husband wouldn’t support his wife and the mother of his children?” the Reynolds rep said.

A rep for Ryan Reynolds is coming to his defense after private text messages from the actor have been made public amid the legal battle between Reynolds’ wife, Blake Lively, and her It Ends With Us director and costar Justin Baldoni.
“Yes, Ryan got involved — what husband wouldn’t support his wife and the mother of his children?” a rep for Reynolds told Puck News.
“He saw his wife fighting daily to stand up against sexual harassment in a private and respectful way, only to face retaliation for doing so,” his rep continued in a statement. “If anything, Ryan feels like he wasn’t angry enough. He passionately believes in and will stand up for the basic right to a safe workplace free of harassment and retaliation for his wife and others. Then, now and always.”

It was previously reported that Grey will reprise her Golden Globe-nominated role as Frances “Baby” Houseman and will executive produce the film.

In news that is sure to get fans to have the time of their lives, Lionsgate is providing the first meaningful update to the highly anticipated Dirty Dancing sequel, which was first officially announced in 2022 at CinemaCon in Las Vegas.
On Tuesday, the studio announced that it has brought aboard Hunger Games and Crazy Rich Asians producers Nina Jacobson and Brad Simpson to oversee the sequel, with the studio eyeing a start of production later this year. This, of course, means that audiences can expect the new movie to waltz into theaters in the near future.

9 ‘Ugly’ Home Accessories That Are Making a Comeback—and How to Style Them
Lava lamps are back.

This year, all the ugly décor that you never thought you’d see again is coming back. Ruffled bed skirts, lava lamps, and neon signs are reappearing, but upgraded—layered with bold wallpaper, grounded by quilted throw blankets, and finished with warm brass hardware.
“Design remixing has become popular, encouraging people to mix old and new elements to create depth, dimension, and a uniquely personal appearance,” says Nicole Cella, an interior designer at Wayfair Professional. “Thrifting has resurfaced as a popular pastime, making vintage pieces more accessible and desirable.”

How to Turn a Dated Vase Into a Beautiful Vessel With Decoupage
Give old vases new life with this DIY project.

The next time you see an outdated vase in your attic or local secondhand shop, look beyond its pattern, and you’ll likely find that it’s brimming with design potential. So long as a vase is structurally sound and you like the shape, you can transform it into modern décor by giving it a decoupage up-cycle.
For this project, we covered the pattern of an old vase with paper flowers cut out from leftover napkins and affixed them to the vase using craft glue. You can use any pattern that fits your personal aesthetic, including geometric patterns, stripes, wildlife, and beyond. No matter what look you’re hoping achieve this, DIY craft is a wonderful way to breathe new life into old vessels.

I’ve Lived in North Carolina for 47 Years—and This Small Town Has the Most Scenic Views in the State
Franklin, the “Gem Capital of the World,” offers natural treasures for those seeking peace and tranquility in the mountains.

Franklin, North Carolina, brings new meaning to the term “hidden gem.” Ruby and sapphire mining began in the area in 1870, once rubies were discovered in the corundum mines. Tiffany’s and other jewelers showed interest in the region in the 1890s, in hopes of finding the source of the rubies, but to no avail.
Still the title of “Gem Capital of the World” belongs to Franklin, and gem mining is a popular activity for visitors hoping to strike it rich—or at least bring home a memorable souvenir. Today, another kind of treasure typically lures travelers to Franklin, though, one found among the trails, waterfalls, and scenic byways of the community. Surrounded by the Nantahala National Forest, and a gateway to the Great Smoky Mountains, Franklin is closely tied to the Appalachian Trail, and became the first designated Appalachian Trail Community in 2010, welcoming travelers with open arms.
