How Jack O’Connell Became Hollywood’s Favorite Bad Guy
The ‘Sinners’ star is back on the big screen and ready to unleash his blinged-out satanist Sir Jimmy Crystal on the world in Nia DaCosta’s sequel ’28 Years Later: The Bone Temple’: “People are going to lose their minds.”
The 35-year-old is having one hell of a year, catching his breath after starring in Ryan J. Coogler’s slick vampire film Sinners, which has gone on to dominate awards season. On Sunday, Coogler, Michael B. Jordan and crew took to the stage at the Golden Globes to accept the award for best box office achievement, having accrued a cool $368 million.
When The Hollywood Reporter last caught up with O’Connell, his charming, bloodsucking Remmick was just about to hit theaters. “It would have been audacious,” the Brit laughs about anticipating the kind of success Sinners would go on to chalk up. “It sort of fills me with the promise about cinema-going. I think we’re in quite a frightened era,” he says, “especially people involved in film [who] are really desperate to know what the future is going to hold. So for people to go and watch Sinners, it’s really, really reassuring. There’s a resilience there. And long may that continue.”
No, Mr. Bond, We Expect You to Lie: Why the 007 Rumor Mill Keeps Churning Out Duds
Stars — and their publicists — are learning that the one thing almost as good as being signed as the next 007 is being rumored for the part.
Pretty much every month, we get a new James Bond. Shortly after Daniel Craig hung up the tuxedo in 2021, there were headlines that Idris Elba was circling the part. Followed by rumors that Henry Cavill and Tom Hardy were in the running. Bridgerton‘s Regé-Jean Page had a moment, as did Bodyguard‘s Richard Madden. All Aaron Taylor-Johnson had to do was show up last summer wearing an Omega Seamaster — Bond’s watch — and suddenly he was a front-runner.
Of course, this happens every time the 007 franchise is between Bonds — remember when Mel Gibson was considered a shoo-in to succeed Timothy Dalton? The gossip becomes a story of its own, a casting sweepstakes, even if “99 percent of the rumors turn out to be false,” as one longtime franchise insider puts it. “Actually, make that 100 percent.”
How To Get To Heaven From Belfast: everything you need to know about the new Netflix series
We have a trailer, folks.
It’s been five years since the legendary TV series Derry Girls came to an end, and now its creator is finally back with an exciting new show — and a stellar Irish cast to match.
In How To Get To Heaven From Belfast, Lisa McGee turns her attention to another group of women, this time in their 30s, who find themselves thrown into an unexpected journey following a tragedy.
As production got underway, McGee shared her excitement in a statement, describing the female leads as “three flawed, funny women who are about to embark on the most thrilling and terrifying adventure of their lives.”
Tiger Stripes Are Destined to Be Fashion’s Favorite Animal Print in 2026
Unlike the always-trendy leopard print, tiger is more unexpected.
I’ve been thinking about this one photo of Chloë Sevigny a lot lately. The actress is at the premiere of Trees Lounge, a 1996 dark-humor indie film directed by and starring Steve Buscemi (she plays a precocious teen with a pixie cut), wearing a sparkly black dress and electric orange tiger-striped tights.
I first saw it on Tumblr fifteen years ago (shocker, I know). Like the great hook of a pop song imprints on your brain, the outfit stuck with me. Lately, it’s come back up in my fashion consciousness because I know, deep in my fashion editor bones, that tiger prints are going to be a major trend in 2026. Cue Survivor’s “Eye of the Tiger”.
I Want to Wear Teyana Taylor’s Dramatic Eye Makeup Every Day
Just the right amount of drama.
After taking home her very first Golden Globe Award on Sunday night for her role in Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another, Taylor practically boomeranged back to the red carpet on Jan. 13 to attend the premiere of Netflix’s The Rip, which she’s set to star in alongside Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. For the event, she wore a sculptural black midi dress from Ashi Studio that featured sheer fabric that covered her entire body, including her face and hands. She spent most of the night with half of her face hidden behind the turtleneck-style face mask, and since her eye were the only thing left uncovered, she obviously made sure her eye makeup looked extra dramatic. Taylor wore black eyeshadow that was slightly smoked out underneath her waterline accompanied by gold eyeshadow near the inner corners of her eyes. She also wore thick, black eyeliner and gave herself wings on the inner and outer corners.
If You Buy One Accessory For 2026, Make It a Great Pair of Statement Gloves
Preferably in a bright, bold leather.
It’s rare to find an accessory that sits perfectly at the intersection of “practical” and “chic”. More often than not, we’re used to justifying impracticality or discomfort—see: stiletto heels, micro-mini handbags, etc.—to achieve a desired look. Right now, though, my very favorite thing to style my outfit around also happens to be one of the key pieces helping me stay warm as I run around New York City: a pair of colorful gloves.
Jennifer Lopez’s Take on the Wide-Leg Jeans Trend Involves $2,600 Dior Denim
Plus a $5,300 Dior D-Journey bag.
Jennifer Lopez shops for jeans and Hermès Birkins with the same mindset: They’re both investments. She’ll fork over four figures (and then some) if the pieces promise to wear well for years to come. The latest example of this? Her $2,600 Dior flared jeans, which she’s still getting her money’s worth from, months after she first wore them out.
On January 14, Lopez took the ultra-wide-leg pair (which we saw back in September) for a spin out in Beverly Hills on January 14.
Harry Styles’s New Album: Here’s Everything We Know
Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally has a release date.
Do a wellness check on the Harry Styles fan in your life. The former One Direction member and actor, arguably the biggest male name in pop music today, has just confirmed that his fourth solo album is coming soon.
Buzz about a potential new release first began building in early 2026 after digital billboards and a redesign on the musician’s website came to light. Then, on January 15, Styles made the big reveal on Instagram, sharing the album title, Kiss All the Time. Disco, Occasionally, as well as the artwork. More importantly, Styles also confirmed the release date: March 6, 2026.
Michelle Randolph of ‘Landman’ Can’t Believe She’s Living Her Dream Life
“I just love what I do, and I hope I get to do it forever.”
Everything seems to be coming up Michelle Randolph lately. Fans can catch her playing Ainsley Norris, the self-absorbed but lovable daughter of Billy Bob Thornton’s Tommy and Ali Larter’s Angela on Landman before season 2’s finale airs on January 18. (The hit Taylor Sheridan–created television show was picked up for a third season just two weeks before I spoke to Randolph on the Friday before Christmas.) In February, she’s taking on the big screen in Scream 7, the latest installment in the iconic slasher film franchise that debuted in 1996—the year before Randolph was born. And beyond her career accomplishments, she’s become somewhat of a press fixture thanks to her rumored romance with Hollywood golden boy Glen Powell, a topic she is, respectfully, not interested in discussing.
The Stealthy Tie-Tuck Is Taking Over Hollywood
These days, being a Hollywood hunk is not enough: You also have to have a cool, modern approach to red carpet style to stand out.
The Heated Rivalry boys—Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams—are prime examples of this: They may have burst onto the scene thanks to their hit queer hockey show, but their sleek outfits have cemented their staying power. The key to looking the part of an A-lister? It’s all about embracing subtle updates on classic menswear tailoring—right down to interesting styling of formal pieces like blazers and cummerbunds. Or, ties. There has, in fact, been a real bevy of Hollywood hunks who are rethinking the tie lately.

Remembering Princess Irene of Greece: the concert pianist Princess who grew up in exile and donated her fortune to charity
Princess Irene of Greece, the beloved sister of Queen Sofia of Spain, has died at the age of 83, the royal household has announced
Royals throughout Europe will be in mourning as it is announced that Princess Irene of Greece and Denmark has died at the age of 83. The beloved sister of Queen Sofia of Spain and the late King Constantine II of Greece had been suffering with a ‘cognitive impairment’ that left her ‘gradually fading away’ over the past three years, and Queen Sofia cancelled all her public engagements this week to stay by her sister’s side.
The news was confirmed by the Spanish Royal Household, which issued the following statement on 15 January: ‘Their Majesties the King and Queen and Her Majesty Queen Sofia regret to announce the passing of Her Royal Highness Princess Irene of Greece at 11:40 a.m. today at the Zarzuela Palace in Madrid.’

Prime Video has unveiled a first look at the forthcoming live-action series “Tomb Raider,” starring Sophie Turner as video game icon Lara Croft.
The series, which is currently in production, is an adaptation of the classic video game franchise and was originally greenlit at Prime Video in May 2024. Turner’s involvement was first reported in November of that year.
Turner is the latest high-profile actress to take on the role of Croft. The archaeologist and adventurer was previously portrayed on screen in two films by Angelina Jolie and in another by Alicia Vikander.
Pamela Anderson explains why she ‘felt weird’ seeing Seth Rogen at the Golden Globes
The “Naked Gun” star “left after my award and I went right to bed” after spotting Rogen in the crowd.
Pamela Anderson isn’t afraid to share her feelings about Hulu’s Pam & Tommy — and those who worked on the buzzy 2022 limited series.
During a recent appearance on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM Radio Andy show, the Naked Gun star recalled how it felt to see Pam & Tommy producer and star Seth Rogen at Sunday’s Golden Globes. Anderson and Miley Cyrus presented the award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy to Rose Byrne. Rogen won two awards that night for his Apple TV series The Studio: Best Television Series — Musical or Comedy and Best Actor in a Television Series — Musical or Comedy.
The actress shared that she “left after my award and I went right to bed,” especially after seeing Rogen in the crowd.
9 Dusting Mistakes That Just Lead to More Dust
Get rid of dust once and for all by avoiding these common oversights.
If the minuscule particles of dirt, skin cells, mites, plastic, and other moderately gross ingredients that make up the dust in your home seem to multiply no matter how frequently you clean, you may be making one (or more!) of these common dusting mistakes.
Using the wrong tools or techniques, skipping spots where dust accumulates, and forgetting unseen high and low areas can all counteract even your most dedicated cleaning efforts. The dust that collects in your home can turn into tumbleweed-like dust bunnies, wreaking havoc on allergies and indoor air quality. Ahead, we spoke to cleaning experts about the most common dusting blunders.
Popular Grocery Items You Can Make Instead of Buy, According to Home Cooks
These items are tastier (and typically cheaper) when made from scratch.
With high grocery prices continuing to take a significant bite out of shoppers’ budgets, more people are opting to cook at home, making DIY household staples like bread to save money. Plus, some things taste better when they’re made from scratch.
A Redditor recently posted on the r/Frugal forum, sharing the things they have started to make at home that they would normally buy in a store.
“It’s a bit of a balancing act with the time and effort required, but I’ve made a few swaps,” they wrote. “I now make our own bread and yoghurt, and as of recently am now converted to homemade tortillas and grinding our own mince.”
They then reached out to fellow community members for more ideas, asking: “What items can you buy in the supermarket that you now make at home?” Here are some of the most popular responses from the Reddit thread.
