Queen Maxima stepped out today to do a little factory touring, as a queen tends to do, and she sported a bright and sassy pantsuit for the occasion.

It’s a nice enough suit, but we’re gonna be quibbly bitches about it. First, we don’t think beige and orange make for a very attractive color combination, especially in equal amounts. It would be one thing to wear an orange outfit with a few beige touches or vice versa, but here we have both hues fighting each other for dominance. If you look too long at that houndstooth, you might get a headache. We also don’t love belted jackets and we think this one in particular isn’t very friendly to her. The bag is hilariously awful. Ditch the belt and the bag and switch the turtleneck and boots out for something in perhaps a deep red or dark green. And put that royal hair in a pony tail.
