After visiting with traumatized children yesterday, Princess Cathy ditched her Kindergarten Cathy style, got herself braided up, and jumped into her very favorite style of all: Sporty Cathy. If you can get this princess in some boots and skinny jeans, she’s a happy girl.  The Princess of Wales joined a “supporting wellbeing walk” in the Peak District with Mind Over Mountains, a mental health charity offering therapeutic outdoor experiences.

She just lives for wrapping herself up in loden and brown. The cap is very cute and the braid is a pleasant break from the relentless pageant curls. We’re not kidding when we say that these sporty-casual outfits tend to be better curated than any of her other style modes except for Tiara Cathy. Yesterday, she threw on a blazer and a turtleneck, but here, she’s much more coordinated, with the scarf and the hat, and it’s notable how there’s always more variations in color when she dresses the way.
