This takes us back to the heady days of the Taylor Swift Empty Purses Sidewalk Tour. A simpler time, perhaps. Like a lot of her classic sidewalk sashay looks, it’s an ensemble that delivers, but it looks goofier the longer you take it in. The jacket is cute, but shapeless, and the shininess of the tights looks terrible. But it’s perfectly fine for an entrance or exit. On camera, she wore something with considerably more high impact.

But perhaps no less awkward. The red looks great on her and the look is well styled, but that bustline just looks strange and overwhelming when she sits down. It would be so much better if those wings sat a little higher, on the shoulders. As it is, she looks like she has to turn sideways to go through a doorway.
